Director General, Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr (Barr) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the recent defection by governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the entire party structure of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state to the All Progressives Congress, APC was and still the best option. Dr Oghenesivbe who as a guest of TVC News "Standpoint" public affairs program on Saturday, stated that the massive defection was democratic, because it was well debated and all grey areas thoroughly examined before the governor, party leaders and stakeholders across the three senatorial districts unanimously agreed that it was the right thing to do. He assured that come 2027 general elections, the good people of Delta State will vote massively for President Bola Tinubu, governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all candidates of APC, adding that the recent defection was necessary to upscale overall development of the state, as well as to improve the living standard...
