Niger Delta Youth Emancipation Camp Support Endsars Protest , Condemned Lekki Toll Masacre

Tasked   PMB to Urgently Implement Demands

By Storm Mbarka

General John Abugor, aka Point One,  the leader of Niger Delta Youth Emancipation Camp from Jesse in Ethiope West LGA, Delta State  has supported the Endsars Protest and condemned the infamous Lekki Toll Plaza Masacre  by sending his solidarity message to all Nigerian  youths across the globe for standing firm to demand for end to police brutality ,accountability,  major reformation from  the opaque FG  system and also tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to change his body language by urgently responding to the demands of the youths amongst others which he described   to be very germane , essential and fundamental if  we must move forward as one indivisible  people  that can make positive impact in the commity of  nations .

General John Abugor the ex warlord who spoke in Warri Delta  State  noted  that because of his deep concern about the points raised by the organisers of the  Endsars Protest,  he took it upon himself to travel to Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Edo ,Kogi Abuja, Rivers, Bayelsa and  Cross River States on a fact finding mission for on the spot assessment of their mood  to hear from the youths one  on one  and the feelers he got from  the States are one and  the  same.

He explained  that what is central in the

demands of the youths across board  is  their collective quest for the  dethronment of bad leadership, accountability of government Officials , the  establishment of industries where they can be gainfully engaged to earn a living in line with the ideals of the dignity of labour,  the immotarluzation of the heroes of the struggle particularly those who paid the supreme task , the compensation of their families, end   to police brutality, the opening and immediate revival of our Comatose Seaports,  particularly the Warri Seaport,  Sapele Seaport,  Koko Seaport,  Port Harcourt Seaport,  Calabar Seaport , EPZ Project, at Ogidigben, the commencement of the  Deep Seaport at Gbaramatu, the Niger Delta Coastal Road Master Plan amongst others.

Abugor pointed out that, if the FG  government will listen and pursue the demands of the youths and also add important projects like  the Independent Power Project at Oghara, to beef up power supply particularly in Delta State, Provision of Gas turbines by Pan Ocean to supply power in Sapele and Ethiope West,  provide community based Modular Refineries, and stop thinking of hiring part of the Warri Refinery to a dealer from the Northen part of the country , Nigeria will soon bounce back as the giant of Africa.

According to him, the Nigerian Youths are angry with the  politicians who are not satisfied with their bogus salaries, which is already under attack by  Alhaji Sanusi Lamido the Former Governor of Central Bank who has contended in a strongly worded letter that the salaries of the Law makers  should be reduced by fifty percent  as they are shamelessly hijacking contracts from the business men who are now at the mercy of the politicians for every contract they want to do, adding that, unless the politicians repent and  desist from that bad character making contractors to suffer,  the wrath of the youths will remain kindled against the the fraudulent Nigerian politician.

Speaking further Abugor said:  " the Endsars Protest is against bad leadership in Nigeria , it is a call for total reorientation, a  reformation which should also improve the welfare package of the police because their salaries is indeed too meagre to multivate them and keep their moral  high to work as professional cops.

While making a plea for help, Abugor  lamented that out of his one thousand boys of the Niger Delta Youth Emancipation Camp,  he was able to train one hundred of them in fish farming but they are yet to be empowered so that they can kick start  their various fish farms in other not to waste  the knowledge gained from the training.

General Abugor therefore sent a Compassionate appeal to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to kindly assist in the empowerment of the one hundred Youths already trained by his organization to boost fish production in Delta State in Particular and Nigeria in general.

Abugor in his summation remarked strongly  that the FG  government must go back to the drawing board to remove hunger from Nigeria through the provision of industries that will put Nigeria on the path of irreversible growth and development.

In a related development, General John Abugor Called on  Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to come to the aid of Jesse people who are facing turbulent time due to the challenges experienced in the kingdom relating to the installation of the new king.

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
