GOV Okowa Approves EAC GOVDELTA 2020 Strategic Communication Workshop

Platinum Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has approved the second edition of the Strategic Communication Workshop designed to enhance the capacity and performance of Media Aides, internal and external social media influencers/bloggers, PDP Social Media Team and press secretaries to Chairmen of the twenty five local government councils.

Executive Assistant to the governor on Communications, Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, in a statement on Tuesday said the 3-Day workshop will hold from December 8 -10, 2020 at Orchid Hotel, DBS Road, Asaba.

The 2019 edition was a huge success, organised by the Office of the Executive Assistant (Communications) to the Governor of Delta State, in conjunction with the office of the Secretary to the State Government.

"I am happy to announce to our media partners and media Aides in this administration that His Excellency the Governor has approved the training and human capacity development of 150 persons in this year's EACGOVDELTA Strategic Communication Workshop.

"Interested media aides and social media influencers/bloggers are expected to send their details; Name, Office Held, Telephone/WhatsApp Number and email address to - eacgovdelta@gmail.com.

"The workshop is sponsored by Delta State Government at no cost to participants. However, participants are to bear the cost of accommodation, logistics and extra living expenses. Tea Breaks and Lunch will be provided free of charge.

More details shall be released in the coming days," the statement added.

Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
