Gov Okowa's EAC, Oghenesivbe Congratulates AG Mrakpor Over Confirmation As Senior Advocate Of Nigeria.

..Says The Elect Of God Are Unstoppable.

Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq has congratulated Delta State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor Esq, for making the final list of applicants confirmed by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee, LPPC, for the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, on Friday.

The EAC in a goodwill message to Mrakpor asserted that the elect of God cannot be stopped from fulfilling destiny and that the conspiracy theory of detractors failed woefully through divine intervention and for lack of evidence to substantiate the spurious allegations cooked up by a busybody petitioner.

He described AG Mrakpor as a peace loving gentleman who pays detailed attention to his multifaceted assigned responsibilities as Chief Law Officer of the state, saying that at 50 years of age, Mrakpor has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is indeed a legal icon with strength of character and a public servant with great foresight and integrity worthy of emulation.

"I congratulate AG Mrakpor for his great accomplishments as a legal icon and for his elevation to the enviable professional status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.

"It is crystal clear that you are a Rock (Peter) that cannot be moved by mere mortals, as can be seen from your sweet victory over your detractors unwarranted political propaganda and spurious allegations anchored on acute Jealousy and inferiority complex.

"We shall go with you to Abuja on the 14th day of December to witness that great day and moment the Lord has set aside to honour you with the prestigious title of SAN, a learned Silk.

"It is my fervent prayer that the spirit of the Lord will continue to lift up divine standard above and against your detractors as you navigate to the mountain top of life, in Jesus Name, Amen," Oghenesivbe prayed.

Deltans and indeed Nigerians will recall that Mrakpor's well deserved ranking as SAN was opposed and challenged by former Minister of State for Education, Kenneth Gbagi Esq, wherein he filed frivolous and unsubstantiated allegations against the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, a failed mission which political analysts described as a "poorly hatched conspiracy theory."

Gbagi made concerted efforts to stop Mrakpor's confirmation by LPPC, but his crafty efforts fell like a huge log before the Axe, and the Chief Law Officer of Delta State, who hails from Ughelli South Local Government Area, made the final list and will subsequently be bestowed with SAN title on 14th December, 2020 at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja.

To God be the glory!

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
