Nigeria in Need of Crearive, Innovative and Productive Leaders - Prof Anigala

Professor Austin  E  Anigala the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics of the Delta State University Abraka has  strongly opined  that Nigeria  is in a dire need of creative, innovative and productive leaders  to harness her enermous great human and material  resources which are boundless. 

Professor Anigala the Academic don who was reacting to the recent statement made by former Ghana President , General Jerry Rawlings  who said Nigeria have all it takes  to become the true giant of Africa if only the Political  leadership is willing to do so. 

General Rawlings the former Ghana President in that speech lamented how Nigeria keep romancing imperial powers with no sign of light at the end of the tunnel. 

He Equally asserted that the old Nigerian Politicians must be eased out through peaceful retirement so that the new breeds can come on board  to set the pace for the new Nigeria Africa can be proud of. 

Prof Anigala  in addition to the Rawlings recommendations   posited that  even though Nigeria 

 have great potential in human and material resources the country  need to do more as a people  to jettison the old politicians who fanned the embers of ethnic and religious flames as seeds of self perpetuation   .

Prof Anigala  maintained that until this old brigades who constitute  cogs in the wheel of progress are dislodged,  the Nigeria state will continue to rigmarole without a definite destination point. 

Speaking further he contended that, the policulture culture of Nigeria must be tailored to attract  brilliant and illuminative minds  to give them the opportunity  to use their  supernaturally endowed whewithal to transform Nigeria into a celebrated state.

Anigala the academic don submitted like Jerry Rawlings of Ghana   that there is need for Nigeria to revert to the 1963 Regional Constitution and also integrate the 2014 National Confab report so that Nigeria can move on to greater heights. 

He expressed optimism in the struggle to make  project Nigeria as glorious success in the shortest possible time adding that he is proud to be a Nigerian and he is looking forward to a better and a new Nigeria.
