Akwa Ibom Youths Splashes Warri With Orange Carnival

The National body of Akwa Ibom Youth Council ,Warri Chapter on Sunday splashed the oil city of Warri with Orange Carnival to mark the 2020 edition end of the year get together at the Moshesge Estate play ground amidst pomp and pageantry.
The annual event which was organised to foster unity amongst sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom in Warri and it's environs shall remain the talk of the town for a long while because the carnival created an impressive memory on every one who attended .
The Chairman of the occasion Chief Akparawa Monday Ben Nsonuyo in his opening speech
thanked God almighty who made the 3rd edition of Akwa Ibom Orange Carnival in Warri reality and a supersonic success.
Chief Nsonuyo appreciated all the dignitaries present , particularkly those representing Uvwie Kingdom, Gbaramatu Kingdom Ughiewven Kingdom Udu Kingdom ,Okpe Kingdom and many others who came to felicitate and celebrate the joy of the moment with the Akwa Ibom people in Warri Delta State
. He hailed the Akwa Ibom Youth Council for the positive impaction the Orange Carnival has brought to them and he also encouraged them to continue celebrating the Orange Carnival which has become a veritable platform of unity and the propagation of the progress of the people of Akwa lbom resident in Warri.
Comrade Lucky Obotu , Chairman AkwaCross NUPENG Delta State, who was the Special guest of honour in his remark noted that the Orange Carnival has come to stay and that it will continue to better the lot of the people and also act as a vehicle to export the cultural heritage of Akwa lbom to the people of Warri.
He assured the organisers of Orange Carnival that they can count on his implicit support to wards putting together subsequent editions even in a more grandiose way because the fun is more than what can be taken for a passing glance.
Mr Solomon Anamukut the President of Akwa Ibom Youth Council Warri Chapter earlier in his welcome address stated that the event was put together to promote the unity and progress of every indigene of Akwa Ibom resident in Effurun , Warri and environs and to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Akwa lbom people .
According to Solomon Anamukut, the Akwa Youth Council have proven their mettle as reliable and competent ambassadors in every field or endeavor of life were they found themselves.
The youth president added in his speech that the Warri Chapter membesrs are dedicated to organizing Orange Carnival with a promise to improve on the next edition by the grace of God.
Chief Wellington Bobo, the oroupawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom who spoke on behalf of invited kingdoms asserted that Akwa Ibom have a variety of culture that tells the African story in a beautiful and civic manner in the language every one can understand.
Pastor Joshua Thomas, Truth Ground Prophetic Ministry, Effurun, Pastor Ekemini Mboso Akpan Lead Pastor God's Convenant and Salvation Ministry , Comrade Akaniyeren Anthony Ekanem , Secretary Akwa Cross NUPENG, Comrade Goodnews Akpabio, Member Akwa Cross NUPENG, , Christopher Effiong, Samuel Edet, Obong Uko Pius, Tony Udoh, Rock Aniekan all of Kings Club Warri in their various comments concurred that Orange Carnival is one annual event they cannot afford to miss because of the adorable spectacle and splendor that comes with Orange Carnival.
The Programme which featured Cultural display, Music , Dance Comedy and more had an array of stars like Marve White , Enowest African Child, MC Parrot,
MC Michael Effiong of Kpoko FM, Exaulted Ukeme, DJ Steve , DJ Nice , Destiny Live band and many others who added glamour to the event.
