The Peace, Development, Security and Humanitarian Rights Association of Niger Deltans has applauded His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa the governor of Delta State for his laudable effort in upgrading the College of Education  Agbor to Delta State University of education, the Anwai Campus to Delta State University of Science and Agriculture, and the Ozoro polytechnic to Delta State university of science and technology.   

The group president comrade Mike JK Tiemo also called on  Gov. Okowa to graciously establish Egbema polytechnic,and  inaugurate the Bomadi Polytechnic to take off   immediately and upgrade of the college of Education Warri to Delta State University of Science and Criminology.

Comrade Mike JK Tiemo who spoke at Asaba the Delta State Capital noted the new attempt of the state government to catalyze and rejig educational infrastructures in the state is indeed a welcomed development because, education he asserted remains the foundation, bedrock, and light that shapes the future of any nation. x

According to him, it is not wise to criticize the increasing number of institutions as it is in line with international best practice.

Comrade Tiemo who gave a vivid example said “Kaduna state alone have more than fifty five existing tertiary institutions and they are still planning to have more.

 The Group President posited that if these new projects are done with the dexterity they deserve, our youths will be massively engaged in the process particularly employment in the educational sector.

 

Comrade Mike Tiemo stressed in his commendation message to the governor that he should use the instrument of his office to accommodate the proposed Delta State University of Science and Criminology, warri, the Egbema polytechnic and the immediate implementation of the Bomadi Polytechnic established by former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The Humanitarian Activist remarked that the establishment of this institution is a step to accelerated community and human capital development which is paramount and fundamental in our quest to achieve the Stronger Delta vision.

 

Bishop Dr. Godwin Pinawei the Vice President of the group, comrade Lucky Ohwahwa Ovigue, Secretary General , who also spoke asserted that the idea of governor Okowa to increase the number of our Universities is the best way to go in order to  expand the frontiers of learning in the state.

 

Comrade Durojaye Ogunsemore the PRO, Sunny Anireto the Assistant Publicity Secretary who also added there voice emphasized that education is the compass that direct the road map for the survival of humanity., therefore, it is proper to give governor Okowa all the necessary support for these institutions to be actualized for the overall interest of  the government and the good of the people of Delta State.

Comrade Mike JK Tiemo the group president Conclusively, commended governor Okowa for the ongoing rapid development across the state, adding that the  acronym of Ekwueme of the Universe and the Road Master bestowed on him is a well-deserved honorand a good legacy. However, The group president pleaded with governor Okowa not to delay the lofty request and vision from coming to fruition as earlier stated.

The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
