Eacgov Oghenesivbe Congratulates Dame Okowa at 60 ...Says her 05 Initiative brought succor to Sickle cell anemia sufferers

Asaba: Delta State First Lady, Dame Edith Okowa has been commended for being a spiritual propeller and a home builder for the women folk, in the past six years of Okowa administration, and still counting.


The commendation is contained in a goodwill message by the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, on the occasion of the 60th birthday anniversary of Dame Okowa, and made available to news men in Asaba on Tuesday 1st June, 2021; saying that a man of destiny is bound to make extraordinary landmarks in life, if he is fortunate to be blessed with a praying wife.


The EACGOV noted that the multifaceted achievements evidenced in the life of the platinum governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, is not unconnected with the propensity of prayers of intercession, daily projected to the Heavenly, which evidently nullified all evil manipulations of political detractors and enemies of progress.


He is of the opinion that the prayers of Dame Okowa, and her prayer warriors helped a great deal in moving the hand of God, to shower  uncommon grace and prosperity upon the state and people.


Oghenesivbe, also made particular reference to the 05 Initiative, a pet project of the First Lady of Delta, which brought hope and succour to beneficiaries of free eye surgeries, as well as,  free medications and other services being provided currently at the various Sickle Cell Centres domiciled in the three Senatorial districts of Delta North, Central and South, respectively.


"Mama Delta, is not only a woman of excellent virtues, dutiful wife to the platinum governor, she is additionally a fantastic grandmother, a spiritual propeller and prayer intercessor who through her family ministry helped greatly to build homes and restored happy family life among female public servants, politicians and their spouses.


"Her inestimable roles in the management of sickle cell anaemia disease in the state cannot be quantified. It is remarkably awesome. 


"We are indeed very fortunate in this time and age in Delta, to have Her Excellency, Dame Okowa, as our mother; serving triangular roles of; spiritual mother, great philanthropist and as the platinum governor's jewel of inestimable value.


"It is my fervent prayers for God, to continually shower His blessings on Mama Delta, grant her longevity and to shower on her entire family with uncommon miracles, prosperity, good health, signs and wonders," Oghenesivbe prayed.

These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
