PDP Felicitates With Governor Okowa At 62, Describes Him As Visionary Leader

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has  congratulated and celebrated the governor of Delta state, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as he marks his 62nd birthday.


The party described Okowa as an exceptionally meticulous administrator, visionary leader and very courageous democrat, who has continued to show an uncommon commitment towards the stability, development and progress of the nation and Delta state in particular.


PDP, in a statement by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan said, "over the years, as a medical doctor, a party man, a Senator of the Federal Republic and now as the governor of Delta state, Governor Okowa has distinguished himself as a patriot, who put the well-being and interest of other above self.


"Governor Okowa has also remained an exceptionally loyal partyman, in making innumerable sacrifices towards the stability and growth of our great party, particularly, his roles in upholding the ideals of the PDP and visions of our founding fathers by standing for a nation built on democratic tenets of justice, equity, rule of law and mutual respect."


The PDP, has, however,  saluted Governor Okowa on this auspicious occasion and pray to God to grant him many more decades in good health for the service of humanity.
