BAYOKO BAGS ROTARY OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD



The Delta State Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Reginald Bayoko, has been decorated with an extraordinary service to humanity award by the Rotary Club of Asaba, describing the number one civil servant in the state as a distinguished administrator.


The special recognition conferred on Bayoko was a major highlight of the installation of Rotarian Odinigwe Odigie (PHF+1), as the President of Rotary Club, Asaba Downtown, for the 2021/2022 Rotary Year, a colourful event held at the Orchid Hotel in  Asaba, the state capital.


While presenting the award on the HOS, which was received on his behalf by Mr. Steve Ekurume, Director (Public Service) in the Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Bayoko was commended for his untiring efforts towards the positive transformation of the civil service in the state.


Bayoko was congratulated by other special awardees and invited guests, including the Chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dame Nkem Okwuofu, the biological mother of the newly installed Rotary President, Asaba Downtown, as well as the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu,  describing him as a seasoned bureaucrat.

  

He was appreciated for the present efficiency in the civil service which had assisted the state government in delivering on its agenda to Deltans.
