Delta 2023: Ijaw Advancement Movement Support Mulade For Governor,

The leadership of Ijaw Advancement Movement yesterday throw  their weight behind the Delta State Governorship aspiration of Comrade High Chief Sheriff Mulade the Ebe Serimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, come 2023.

Speaking at a well attended meeting, the President of the  Ijaw Advancement Movement, Comrade Edward E Tombrapaide stated that Comrade High Chief Mulade is a credible man of dignity who can be trusted if given the mantle of Governor to close the gap of the plight of the youths and other areas that are essential in the state economy.

Comrade Edward Tombrapaide the Group President posited that he is convinced beyond all reasonable doubt that if High Chief Mulade is given the opportunity to be Governor of Delta State, he will take the State to enviable heights through his political sagacity.

According to the Group President, Mulade is a politically savvy man with a pedigree of practical love for the masses developed over time from his activism that spans the environment and the human beings.

Comrade Tombrapaide explained in his support statement that Mulade as a man of the people has been using his personal wherewithal to sponsor programs and projects that are beneficial to the public, hence the need to call on him to come on board and  serve in a higher capacity as Governor of Delta State .


Chief Peter Bolous the Patron of Ijaw Advancement Movement who also spoke in the same vein asserted that High Chief Mulade is the best Governorship material for Delta 2023, based on his laudable and excellent performance in the past.

The Group Patron assured that with Mulade in the saddle of leadership as the Governor of Delta State there will be adequate dividends of democracy distributed proportionally across the three Senatorial Districts.  


The Public Relation Officer(PRO) of the Group , Comrade T. Tobokor Ogboguren in his contribution remarked that  High Chief Sheriff Mulade is a man of dignity who has the ability and quality to move the State  from where Governor Okowa has developed it  to the next level of  unprecedented development.


The Group Secretary/Legal Adviser, Barrister Okosun Kurokonperegha who also eulogize the sterling leadership quality of Mulade said: “Looking at all the aspirants on ground, Mulade is the most qualified, vibrant and accessible candidate tailor made for the Delta Governorship  come 2023.” 

The women leader of the Group, Mrs. Blessing Sagamu Ebiotukebena who also spoke, poured encomiums on High Chief Mulade saying:”We are supporting Mulade for  Delta State Governor Come 2023 because, before this time he has been very helpful to the women using his private sector resources. So we believe that if he is given the opportunity to be the Governor of Delta state, he will remove all the women from poverty.”

In summation she added:” Mulade as our Governor will end the issues of gender inequality, because he will addressed it  and give the women their pride of place as very important and relevant stake holders in the State policy making in terms of affirmative action in our quest to build an egalitarian society.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs.
