Jubilation ln Warri As Mulade Expresses interest to Run Delta Guber Race in 2023

There was Jubilation yesterday Sunday 5th September, 2021  as a Chieftain  of the  People's  Democratic Party (PDP) the renowned environmentalist, High Sheriff Mulade expressed  interest to run the   Delta State gubernatorial  race  come  2023 general election.


While  He appealed to all Detans to support his ambition to move the state forward, Chief Mulade the governorship

hopeful stressed that there is need to consider the ljaw people having cooperated with the other ethnic Nationalities to produce govenors in the past since the beginning of the current   constitutionnal democracy .






The event which was held at the play ground of the old Warri Port by the Marine Police station was done to coincide with the official launching of an  Ijaw musical album by Chief  Kingsley Takemebo, tagged Support 2023 Ijaw governorship,.


Comrade Chief  Sheriff  Mulade who addressed the jubilating marmhort crowd during the declaration said  :

  ,” I am here for Ijaw governorsgip 2023.

I am interested in the governorship position of Delta state come 2023, because it is

time for ljaw ethnic nationality to produce governor in line with the spirit and letter of equity."



Speaking further ,he explained:


” This is not about Chief Mulade, but it is about Delta Ijaw. The Ijaws  supported former governor Chief Felix Ibru, Ijaws supported former governor Chief James Ibori, Ijaws supported Dr.Emmanuel Uduaghan and Ijaws supported Senator Ifeanyi Okowa."


He said : "Considering the fact that  ljaw is  second largest ethnic Nationality  in

Delta State, even the most naive political pondicts will agree with me that indeed the time for ljaw governor is now 

adding that anything done to throw spanners in the Process will resisted by

the ljaw political stakeholders."


Continuing, Mulade Posited:  ” Ijaws in Delta produces a good chunk of the  revenue in Delta State which  over 60%.The ljaw quota  helps  in stabilizing the economy of the State as well as federal the government. It is not out of place for Delta Ijaws to produce the next governor of the state after Senator Ifeanyi Okowa ends strongly.” He said.






Mulade the Delta governorship hopeful  appealed to other ethnic nationalities and political stakeholders across board  to support him to become the next governor of the state to enable him  continue from  where governor Okowa will stop in  Provision of infrastructures across the  nooks and crannies of  the state.


 The Peace Ambassador also  appealed to his Ijaw political leaders to key behind his political dream to become the 2023 Delta governor.


” I am young in age, but I have the capacity to govern Delta state to move Delta state to the next level, if voted into power in 2023″ Mulade declared."




 The Chairman  of the Album launching ceremony, Chief George Ekpemupolo, a former council Chairman of  Warri South West LGA, Delta state wooed Deltans to support Chief Sheriff Mulade governorship ambition as a young dynamic and selfless leader who would take Delta state to the next level.

Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs.
