Journalism has been described as a veritable tool in strengthing our fledging Democratic process.

The Chairman Isoko South Local Government Area, Hon Victor Asasa made the pronoucement in a congratulatory message sent to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta Council Chairman, Comrade Mike Ikeogwu, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.


In a statement, Victor Asasa described Ikeogwu as visionary leader who has impacted on the journalism in the state.


" You pragmatic leadership has impacted in no small measure on the profession and the lives of up coming practitioner's"


On behalf of the good people of Isoko South Local Government, i  celebrate your birthday and pray that the good Lord grant you wisdom to continue the good you have started


The Chairman wished Ikeogwu a life of fulfillment in his choosen profession.
