           Omoku Community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA of Rivers State was agog last weekend as the Delta State Coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mobilizer, Hon. Francis Obule (JP), family and associates stormed the community to pay the bride price of his son’s wife former Miss Rita Chikordi Elebechi Orji in a colourful ceremony.

            The celebrated traditional marriage between Mr. Oghenero Francis Obule Jnr and Mrs. Rita Oghenero Francis Obule was conducted according to the tradition and custom of Omoku people of Rivers State.

            Speaking to newsmen at Omoku, the father of the groom, Hon. Obule JP said he was happy to participate in the marriage ceremony of his son and expressed gratitude to God for the peaceful and successful marriage ceremony.

            He prayed to God for the couple to continue to love themselves and uphold the true love that brought them together and understand each other as well worship God and be prayerful for God’s protection and blessing.

            Comrade Obule urged the newly married couple to have patience, love and trust each other, assuring that God will bless and favour their marriage.

            “Always trust God in your marriage and be patient, tolerant and love. Increase your faith in God after marriage so that God could take control and bless your marriage” he added.

            Hon. Obule thanked Pa Chief Alfred Obule, the head of the Obule family of Okuovo 1 Community in Ozue District, Sapele LGA and also thanked all those who found time to grace the occasion and those who gave financial support and prayed for the success of the occasion.

            The newly married couple Mr. and Mrs. Obule Jnr. expressed joy and promised to love and respect each other and maintain the sanctity of marriage.

            Earlier, the father of the bride, Chief Deacon Vincent Elebechi Orji during the traditional marriage ceremony conducted in Omoku tradition and custom prayed for the couple to be fruitful, love each other, honest, faithful to each other and always pray to God for His blessing and protection.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
