His Royal Majesty, Stanley P. Luke, Kalanama Viii, Pere of Akugbene Mein Kingdom, Bomadi Council Area of Delta State has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for sustaining peaceful environment in his domain just as he offered scholarship to 48 secondary school students from his kingdom. 


The monarch also commended commended the deputy Governor Deacon Kingsley Otuaro for his undiluted love to him and his subjects added that the bound of love and friendship would continue for life. 


Pere Kalanama Viii speaking at the 8th edition of the end-of-year palace praise day celebration at the ancient town Akugbene, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta  State stated that his scholarship scheme has continued to strive due to the benevolence of Governor Okowa. 


The royal father thanked God for providing Governor Okowa the right direction to govern the State praying for him to finish strong and get to more higher positions in life. 


Earlier at the ceremony, the chairman of the Pere S. P Luke scholarship scheme Mr. Flemming Carter said a total of 107 secondary school students have benefited from the scholarship Scheme.


While appreciating the monarch for his relentless efforts in continuing the programme since 2012 noted that all the 12 towns that made up the Bomadi Council Area were all captured with four best excelling students from their schools.


Mr Carter later presented the 2021 scholarship recipients with cash, note books and other learning kits with an advised for the students to make good use of the packages.

These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs.
