Okechukwu Okoye, aka Okey di Okay for a second term in office.    Following a consultative meeting held at Igboukwu, Aguata Local Government Area and attended by members of the Executive of Aguata North Political Forum, Traditional Rulers and Presidents-General of the Eight (8) Communities of Aguata II State Constituency, as well as representatives of the eleven (11) Wards of the Constituency, the Forum also appealed to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to give it's ticket to Okey di Okay ,Hon Okoye to enable him realise his re-election bid for the greater good of the Aguata II Constituency. Chief Ibori Mourns Grace Alele-Williams. Chief James Onanefe Ibori has received with sadness and a deep sense of personal loss, the passing of Prof Grace Alele-Williams. Ibori said: “Alele -Williams’ life imparted greatly on mine as she was the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin while I was a student there. I remember her as an outstanding woman of integrity and one of those who showed my feet the way to follow”. Ibori sent his condolences to the Itsekiri nation and Delta state whose histories Alele-Williams decorated with her trail-blazing life; as the first Nigerian woman to earn a PhD in Mathematics and the first female Vice-Chancellor of a Nigerian University.
