FUPRE Set To Celebrate Founder's Day On March 17th 2022

Information available at our news desk indicate that, the Management of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, ( FUPRE) Effurun Delta State, is set to organize her annual Founder’s day celebration amidst pump and pageantry .
The event which is slated to take place at FUPRE Lecture Hall one on the 17th of March 2022 at 10am is expected to draw visitors from far and near for a robust academic discourse towards the growth and development of the Petroleum Industry in Particular and our nation in general.
This year edition, which is the 15th annual Founder’s Day, tagged the 3rd Lecture Series with the team:" Expanding The Frontier of Petroleum Education Through Stake-holders Participation " will feature Mr. Augustine Ojunekwu Avuru the former MD of Seplat Energy as the Guest Speaker to be supported by a host of other top players in the Petroleum industry.
Rev. Fr. Dr Abaka Oghenejode the HOD of the Public Relation Department ably represented by Mr. Victor Nwora who Spoke to newsmen during an interactive session stated that the key note address is expected to be delivered by Engr Prof. Rim Rukeh Akpofure the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) Effurun Delta State.
Mr Victor Nwora in line with the guiding principles and protocols of the University requested invited guests from the academic circle, Captains of industries and relevant takeholders to be seated early as the event is billed to commence at 10:00 am
Mrs. Jane Omoyine, the Registrar and Secretary to Council who spoke via skype to Daily Independent News-paper disclosed that the FUPRE 15th edition of the Founder’s Day celebration promises to be unique and spectacular as there are a lot to be showcased during the ceremony to make the event a memorable one.
Our correspondent who visited the university community stated that the atmosphere was already charged, electrified and the people in their elements, as arrangements was in top gear to put the campus in a festive mood.
