The leadership of Save Urhobo Youths Forum (SUYF) has called on delegates

to cast their votes wisely for Dcn Chris lyovwaye for him to emerge as the flag bearer of PDP come April 21st when the guber primaries will be conducted in Asaba, the  Delta State capital.

Comrade Agadia Samuel Oghenegare

the President of the Save Urhobo Youths Forum made this compassionate appeal

yesterday  26th April, 2023 while addressing a large group of teaming supporters of Dcn Chris lyovwaye who thronged his country home in a solidarity visit to drum support for his Governorship ambition .

Comrade Agadia Samuel Oghenegare , the Urhobo Youth boss noted during his speech that Delta State have come of age and that the only thing needed now

is the person of Dcn Chris Iyovwaye

who have drafted a blue print of the way forward beyond the stronger Delta vision  christined ,   "Agenda SMART Plus" to sustain the legacy achieved by His Excellency ,Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa ,the Road Master Governor and EKWUEME of the universe.

According to Comrade Agadia, the Urhobo Youth leader, it is important

to send this timely   appeal message to

the delagates because as a State, we  must learn to avoid the blunders of yesterday as our actions and inactions  defines the outcome of our tomorrow

hence the need for the delegates to understand the difference and vote

for Chris lyovwaye who is banking on the God factor to change the narratives of Deltans if given the mandate as the Governor of Delta State.

Agadia explained that using the

instruments of his good office, by the grace of God,  Dcn Chris Iyovwaye can be trusted  to repeat what he has done already in the Private Sector by growing the Wellmann Group from Zero Capital to a leading brand in  Marine transport in Africa.

Comrade Agadia  While describing Dcn Chris Iyovwaye as the good  shepherd who understands the sheep willing to fend for them   no matter what unlike the hireling, said: " Dcn Chris lyovwaye is a shepherd who understands the sheep , Which is by extension  the good  people of Delta State with a burden to stamp out poverty from our midst through  the revamping of old industries and establishment of new ones if Deltans gives him the mandate to serve as the

Governnor come 2023."

Continuing he added: " Dcn Chris lyovwaye,as an industrial expert is the only candidate amongst the crowd that

is willing and ready to  bring his expertise to  add value to the Government and good people of Delta State and also to engineer a Progressive

and transparent mechanism that Will usher in unprecedented dividends of democracy to the constellation of all without gimmicks and Political undertones because he cometh with the heart of a shepherd . "

Agadia stated with emphasis that

Dcn Chris lyovwaye is a unique brand

of guber candidate amongst the packs who  should be embraced by the delegates, because we must remember that whatever we are going to be tomorrow will be determined by the choice the delagates will make on April 21st , hence the clarion call on them to get it right so that the laudable strides of Governnor Okowa's achievements Will  be sustained in the overall interest of Deltans.

Agadia maintained in his speech that

Dcn Chris lyovwaye from his inner recccesses mean well for Deltans and he has openly said it loud and clear in many fora that he is coming

with the Midas touch to make a fundamental difference in Delta State through qualitative   leadership  in the spirit of fairness equity and Justice

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
