 Niger Delta Political  Group Calls On APC, PDP, Other Stakeholders To Emulate Singapore To Avert Nigeria Collapse

The leadership of  Niger Deltans Campaign For Development and Progressive Governance  

has called on the ruling All Progressive Party APC, the main opposition , the People's Democratic party PDP and other critical stakeholders to emulate the South East Asian Country of Singapore which is experiencing rapid and accelerated growth and development due to adherence to the tenets of good governance to avert the collapse of

Nigeria our dear country.

Comrade Mike JK Tiemo the Group President who spoke to newsmen in Warri Delta State noted that Nigeria as a matter of urgency need to restructure our minds for proper unification to achieve a Platform for good governance 

in the overall interest of Nigerians rather than selfish interest which has been promoting seggregation and division.

The Niger Delta Good Governance Advocate  

stated that lack of love, unity and collective vision of one purpose have created tension , unrest situation and insecurity which has led to massive and persistent killing of Nigerian citizens on

a daily basis like mere animals.

According to Comrade Mike Tiemo the Group President,there is need for all  political parties and relevant stakeholders of Project Nigeria to avoid beating the drums of war and undue criticisms in respect of 2023 because the eruption of accremonies in our political space is uncalled for.

Speaking further , he added: " The issue of producing  the next President from the South should not be a controversy 

because it is obvious and clear to all Nigerians and the whole world that President Muhammadu Buhari is from the North , equity demands that the next president should come from the South as required by our nacent democracy ."

The irked  Niger Delta Humanitarian Activist lamented  that some leaders in the north  are creating room for accremony by refusing to accept the transparent truth  by denying the heir apparants of  Southern Nigeria who have equal stakes constitutionally to aspire to the office of Mr President without any kind of deprivation. 

Continuing, he pointed out that the northerners continued hesitation to endorse a Southern candidate for president come 2023 is unpatriotic, clannish, biased and a total diservice to our, national

unity and interest

Activist contended that for the  South South which is producing Oil and Gas as our national cake for   the whole country  to receive   opposition to run for Presidency  is uncalled for , because the action of the northerners creates and denotes disunity which is not in tandem with the ethos of democracy.

Tiemo appealed to the   northerners 

to have a rethink and withdraw from the agitation of a northern President taking over or succeeding PMB come 2023

for national peace and tranquility to prevail

He further stated that the issue of a Southerner  for President come 2023 should not be a subject for debate rather Nigerians should look unto a good governance that will take a queue

Member Roars Against  Nicholas Mutu Seventh Tenure Bid

Comrade Watchman Peresine,an executive member of Delta ljaw Comrades Community DICCA Assembly 

has roared against the seventh tenure bid of Hon Nicholas Mutu who has spent  twenty three years in the green Chambers of the National Assembly representing  the people of Bomadi/ Patani Federal Constituency.

Comrade Watchman Peresine, the  DICCA boss who spoke to Daily Independent

Newspaper Correspondent via Skype stated that, Hon Nicholas Mutu have over stayed his welcome, adding that

there is need to practice the  Politics of rotation of power in order to carry the the two power blocs Which  makes up the  Bomadi/PataniConstituency along.

According to Comrade Watchman Peresine, Hon Nicholas Mutu is not a grassroot politician, because he  is not in sync with the down-trodden masses of the Constituency rather ,he believes in oiling and greasing the Palm of selected leaders who usually endorse him for reelection.

Speaking further he urged the delegates to do the right thing by swinging their votes in support of Hon Basil Ganagana

because that idea alligned with the principles  of rotational representation in

our nacent democracy.

He explained that Hon  Basil  Ganagana

when he was a Lawmaker in the Delta State House of Assembly, demonstrated purposeful leadership by delivery the dividends of democracy through youth and Women empowerment including

a lot of constituencies projects.

Comrade Watchman Peresine who

was determined to express his grouse  over the shoddy political arrangement said: " The Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency is made up of two LGA

with equal Political right.By 2023 Hon

Nicholas Mutu from Bomadi LGA  Would. have spent 24 years in the green

chambers of our national Assembly while Patani the second power bloc is quarantined to act as a spectator, an idea Which runs contrary to the ethos

of democracy.

According to Comrade Watchman Peresine, Hon Nicholas Mutu is a well known Abuja stationed Politician with a knack for ignoring calls from constituents untill there it is another cycle of electoral year before coming to

to use money to induce the leaders

who plays his bidding because they cannot stand the temptation of rejecting 

his Political baits.

While appealing to all Stakeholders to get it right this time he remarked: "

I thank His Excellency Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa the Executive Governor of Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Esiso Delta State  PDP  Chairman,  all party leaders in Patani and Bomadi to understand and consider the Patani axis in the next dispensation. accelerated growth and development of our great country Nigeria  where issues of of insecurity,massive killing,on daily basis fuel scarcity , marginalizationtion, hyperinflation, endemic corruption will be a thing of the past.

Tiemo the Group President stressed  that the proper thing to do now is for the northerners to join the Southerners to close ranks and collectively source a credible candidate from the South with capacity to  take our economy out of the woods and move Nigeria to a much more global standard  to the constellation of all come 2023 .

He  strongly advised that Nigerians should  focus on  measures which would address

the thorny issues of persistent killing and general insecurity  that is currently  going on  in Nigeria because the God of creation is not an author of confusion but  of peace unity and love
