Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, Speaker DTHA and PDP flagbearer for

Delta 2023 gubernatorial election over his  victory at the Court of appeal  today 29thAugust 2022 , sitting in Abuja.


The official statement  Signed by

Chief  Mike Usige (BOT Chairman),  and Prince A. Abugo ( Co-ordinator) 

made available to Daily lndependent Newspaper reads

in part:

" On behalf of our national Leader and father, Chief Dr. E.K Clark OFR, CON, BOT, Executive, members and teeming supporters and all our followers across the length and breathe of Delta State, we heartily congratulate our gubernatorial candidate on his victory today August 29 2022, "




The statement asserted that the 

victory was expected considering the impeccable character, unassailable pedigree and track records of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, despite the verdict of the lower Court which was upturned by the Court of Appeal.



The group stressed in their congratulatory message saying: "We have never doubted the triumph of good over evil,  triumph of light over darkness which manifested today, as we congratulate Oborevwori we urge his accusers to quickly see the hand writing on the wall and retrace their steps to build a United, strong and  resourceful PDP with all Party leaders and Rt. Hon Oborevwori in order to have a better State of our dreams which Oborevwori represents."





The statement further remarked

that the victory of  RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori today  should not be misconstrued as victory for one party against the other but victory for all, the PDP and Deltans, adding that 

 no matter our differences we have no any  other Political party but PDP so we must all come together not only to salvage it and make it better but must also accommodate all interests to build a better State without malice, bunkering, in order to sustain the ideals which the PDP and it's founding fathers represent since 1998 till date.




The group which further  identified unity

as an essential fundamental said: 

" We must not fail to come together to chase APC from the state and also Abuja in order to have a bounyant economy, Political stability, curb insecurity, make food available, affordable and curb corruption, and

we must understand that 

the answer and solutions to our multitutional problems lies in no where but retaining  of PDP in power at the state and federal government levels.


While expressing optimism 

on the political sagacity of the

Delta PDP flagbearer the group

reaffirmed thus:


 "We  Congratulate PDP, the Gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon Oborevwori and Deltans who despite the blackmail, false accusations have kept faith in him, surely a Daniel has come to judgement and no doubt that the judiciary remains hope of the common man."


The group Which acknowledged the

significant fatherly role of the pillar of the body noted:
