The Niger Delta United Group of Ex- Agitators , of the Presidential Amnesty Programme( PAP) Phase 3 has felicitated with High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo over his well deserved Oil Pipeline Surveillance Contract awarded to him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Niger Delta United Group of Ex- Agitators in their written official goodwill message signed by General Joseph Akpos Jericho, Chairman, General Timibra Gabriel ,Vice Chairman, General Ivwromon Ebi Ogaga as Secretary and forty others made available to newsmen in Warri described the Federal Government gesture as the best move to end illegal bunkering and to sustain the prevailing
peace in the Niger Delta region.
The Group which further extolled
the leadership qualíty of Tompolo in
their congratulatory message said: " We congratulate the iconic GOC, High Chief
Tompolo who is our life hero , grand Patron , leader and the father of all Ex- Agitators who always put forth first the interest of the Niger Delta People and all the Ex Agitators at heart."
The General Jericho led Ex Agitators
asserted thus : " We consider it Paramount and imperative to Particularly call on all Niger Deltans and Nigerians in general to always support
our leader , the GOC,High Chief Tompolo to enable him contribute
his best to the peace, growth and development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large
While counseling those fighting against
the contract award to stop and have a rethink , the Niger Delta United Group . remarked: " We sincerely thank President Muhammadu Buhari for
choosing not to listen to the enemies of the Niger Delta region."
Conclusively, they reaffirmed that, the
new turn of unfolding events in the
Niger Delta promises a lot of sunshine
and better things to come for one indivisible Nigeria which will rise to take her place of pride as one indivisible nation.
