Amalgamated Oil, Gas And Pipeline Impacted States Of Nigeria Commends PMB , Congratulates Tompolo Over Surveillance Contract

 Prince Dr Mike Emuh,the National Chairman of the Amalgamated Oil,  Gas And Pipeline lmpacted Communities of Nigeria being the Almalgamated umbrella of (HOSCON),has commended the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government of Nigeria for awarding the Pipeline Surveillance Contract to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo

and also Congratulate Tompolo for putting up

a good track record which qualified him to the the recipient of the Surveillance Contract in the Niger Delta.



Prince Dr Mike Emuh who   spoke to

newsmen immediately after the 

 the end of the Group  general meeting held

at the HOSCON Guest House in Effurun GRA  on the 3rd of September 2022 Warri, Delta State stated that ( HOSCON) is particularly happy that one of their own in the person of Tompolo is fully recognised  by the federal government for this all important surveillance job.



Speaking further the Amalgamated Oil, Gas And Pipeline lmpacted Host Communities  National Chair said:  "Without any iota of reservation, l categorically  promise in strong terms that we  the Amalgamated Oil, Gas And Pipeline lmpacted Host Communities of Nigeria (HOSCON)

are ready to work  in collaboration and in synergy with Tompolo in order to stop the huge crime of oil theft that has brought the national economy on her knees."


Prince Dr Mike Emuh while   advising 

those who are averse to the federal government decision to give the contract to Tompolo to change their minds he said: "" Let me advice that 

those who are not in sync with what 

President Buhari has done now should have a rethink, and Sheathe their swords

because the idea of using an indigenous approach to guide our Pipeline is long over due, more so Tompolo met all the requisite knowledge and skills required

to  carry out the task effectively ."



Continuing he reiterated: " l am congratulating Chief Tompolo even though we have visited him  to assure all relevant stakeholders that we will do

everything humanly possible Within our power to actualize what the Federal Government visualized and phatomed before giving the contract to Tompolo."


He added : " The Federal Government  want to stop the abitrary illegality of oil theft Which is threatening to crumble our national economy ."


Prince Dr Mike Emuh argued that one of the beauty of the Surveillance contract given to Tompolo is the fact that  the job is now in the hands of the Host Communities, which means HOSCON is happy, the Ex - warlords are happy and the whole of the Niger Delta region is in a frenzy at the moment.




The Amalgamated HOSCON Chair observed: " Let us give peace a chance

by embracing peace at every point of negotiation, we appreciate all the traditional rulers of oil producing Communities TROPCON.


While harping on the need to fastrack some of the pending issues on the part of the federal government he said: " l appeal to PMB to expedite action on the

process leading to the release of the  13 percent derivation funds to the Host Communities to which that money belongs, as a result of the lost of their fishing and farming rights
