Ogulagha Elders Synod Hails President Buhari As They Congratulate Tompolo Over Surveillance Contract

The leadership  and the entire members of  Ogulagha Elders Synod from the oil rich  Ogulagha Kingdom  has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for granting an illustrious son of the Niger Delta High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo 

 the opportunity to receive and execute Oil Pipeline Surveillance Contract in the Niger Delta region .


The statement also warmly congratulated Tompolo for putting

up a good account of himself by coming out with the required expertise through

his company which he is used  as the platform to access the surveillance contract.


Elder  Firstman lngla, the Chairman

Ogulagha Elders Synod who spoke about how elated they are due to  

the surveillance contract said:

" As we celebrate with our son whom the Federal Government has found worthy to carry out the Very important assignment of Oil Pipeline Surveillance,

l want to make it  clear without any iota of doubt  that High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo is 

very conversant  with the rough and tough  terrain with numerous  winding creeks where the Oil theft is prevalent."


Elder Firstman lngla the  Chairman of Ogulagha Elders Synod in his speech  assured  Nigerians , and all relevant stakeholders that Tompolo will liaise with the leaders of the Host  Communities,  the Royal Fathers to ensure that the surveillance job is done 

to yield positive result to the Niger Delta People in particular and the Nigerian economy in general.


Ingla the Ogulagha Elders Chair stated further that Tompolo was selected because the surveillance contract is not a Job that can be handled by neophytes

on the job but by people with the cognate experience and expertise to 

to operate in the difficult terrains where

these pipelines  criscrosses each other

in a very long string.

the forum and  Elder Henry Agediga, the PRO who also spoke in the own contribution noted that based on the pedigree of the person of Tompolo who enjoys alot of good will from the Niger Delta People, they are more than ready to work in harmony with him to deliver on the mandate of  operation 'Safe Oil Asset'  in the Niger Delta to restore  the nation's  crude oil production potential   which is currently at the lowest ebb due to oil theft. 


The Ogulagha Elders  affirmed that the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited indeed  found Tompolo  worthy after he  presented a bidding brief Which spelt out a robust operational module that convinced them as the Agency of  Government  Which directly awarded the contract in good fate to Tompolo

in the over all interest of all stakeholders.


The Elders  assured those who have any kind of reservation to alley themselves of all  kinds of  pesimistic inclinations becauseTompolo is a tested and  trusted hand who has done this very job before and at that time verifiable records are there to attest to the fact  that the rate of oil theft  then reduced

to the barest minimal unlike what we are experiencing today, which  justifies the need for Tompolo's  re- engagement.


Elder Chief Council Guwor, the Olotu of Ogulagha Kingdom,  Pupulist High  Chief Wellington Bobo and Elder Chief  J E Nadifa (JP) all Patrons of the Ogulagha Elders Synod in their seperate speeches made it  emphatically clear that  the Federal Government  decision to award the  surveillance contact to  Tompolo is the best  thing President Muhammadu Buhari  has  done because Tompolo  is ready to carry all the Communities along.

concurred in their commendation and  good will message to Mr President and 

Tompolo  saying : " Just the announcement alone that Tompolo is to 

take over the surveillance job has brought joy to the Niger Delta, and all

the stakeholders are prepared and ready to support him to succeed in the task ahead.


They  Posited : " We Congratulate

Tompolo who is our Illustrious son

for his ability to defend the surveillance contract which we believe he will execute seamlessly to the constellation of all."


The Ogulagha Elders Synod Patrons 

emphasized that  with Tompolo at the helms of affairs in surveillance operations very soon we shall achieve 

maximum result and the thorny issue of oil theft which has brought our national economy to her knees Will be a thing of the past.



The Elders who hieved a sigh of  relief 

explained: " We are happy that the Federal Government has mandated Tompolo to  come and   salvage our ecologically damaged environment

our  only means of livelyhood 

which has been destroyed through the activities of oil theft massively carried out in the Niger Delta region."



Finally they said:" We Congratulate Tompolo and also appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari who saw reasons to embrace the truth by doing the right

thing Which  has already set the Niger Delta region agog."
