Niger Delta United Group of Ex Agitators of Presídential Amnesty Programme Phase 3 have congratulated and fecilitated with Maj.General Barry Ndiomu (Rtd) the newly appointed interim Administrator of the Presídential Amnesty Programme PAP by Presídent Muhammadu Buhari, the Commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Niger Delta United Group of Ex Agitators stated that General Barry. Ndiomu is a Worthy illustrious son of the Niger Delta with the requisite experience from verious part of the world which is good enough for him to handle the PAP office for the benefit of the Ex Agitators in particular and the Niger Delta in general.
The goodwill message which was contained in a press release dated 27th September 2022 signed by Gen Joseph Jericho Akpos, as Chairman, General Timibra, Vice Chairman and General Ivwromon Ebi Ogaga as Secretary and other leaders made available to Daily lndependent Newspaper commended
the laudable commitment of Presídent Muhammadu Buhari to the PAP Programme and thanked him
for the appointment of Maj.Gen.Barry Ndiomu as interim Administrator.
The General Jericho led Niger Delta United Ex Agitators noted in their congratulatory message that the newly appointed interim Administrator is a man who has horned his expertise ,
the reason he has already hit the ground running by garnering prompt achievement in the area of training
of Ex Agitators which has been delayed for long time.
The Ex Agitators compassionately appealed to Presídent Muhammadu Buhari to
use the instruments of his good office to
re-assign General Barry Ndiomu as Special Adviser/ Chairman Presidential Amnesty Programme to enable him
act with more Executive power to fulfill
the aims and objective of the programme effectively since many has failed before now due to reasons bordering on lack of mandate to act.

in their goodwill message also appreciated the interim Administrator Maj.Gen. Barry Ndiomu for appointing Mr Wilfred Musa as head of reintegration of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) a man
whom they described as a Daniel who has come to do Justice to the myriads of pending issues for the betterment of all relevant stakeholders.
ln the same vein, While congratulating Wilfred Musa the Niger Delta United Ex Agitators observed that
his consistency, deligence and quantum input into his various assignments in the past has proven his pedigree as a man who fears and honour God hence his appointment had shown as an example

The Group Chairman, Gen Joseph Jericho Akpos, General Timibra Gabriel Vice Chairman and General Ivwromon Ebi Ogaga Secretary respectively appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari and FG of Nigeria not to end the Amnesty Programme as speculated because thousands of Ex-Agitators have not been trained and those trained has not been empowered.
They strongly appealed to the interim Administrator Maj.Gen. Barry Ndiomu and head reintegration Mr Wilfred Musa Oyerebu to kindly look towards their pains and document at his office through the peace building and conflict resolution office by the past administration on a meeting head on 8 and 9 august 2022 to give them quick implementation.

also called on all groups and phases of the Presidential Amnesty Programme to support the Maj.Gen.Barry Ndiomu and called for his confirmation as Special Adviser/Chairman Presidential Amnesty Programme by the President.
The group also called on all the Niger Delta Royal Fathers and Elders of the region to appeal to Mr President not to end the Programme for the sake of peace,empowerment development and fast growth of the region.
