Ogondi Descendants Punctures Akin Germans Spurious Claim To Pere Koriwei ,As They Confirmed HRM BARR Napoleon Egin As The Authentic   Agadagba of Egbema Kingdom

By Wilson Macaulay

The Descendants of Ogondi , founder of Jamagie Community in Egbema  have punctured the spurious claim of one Mr. Akin German who is surreptitiously  laying claim to the title of Pere Koriwei
of Egbema kingdom.

The Ogondi Descendants in the same communique also asserted collectively and  unequivocally that' HRM Barr Napoleon Egin  Bini Pere 1V as the authentic Agadagba of  Egbema Kingdom.

The Ogondi Descendants without any iota of doubt  stated  clearly and firmly
that Chief Simeon Ebidouwei David Egbikru (JP) in line with the
Chieftaincy gazette is the Pere Koriwei of  Egbema kingdom but not  Mr Akin German have no hereditary or any  right to the title of Pere Koriwei because the kekeowei quarter which Akin German hails from, met the Ogondi Descendants  who are   the founders of Jamagie Community adding that if the title is actually hereditary as he claimed,  then only the Ogondi Descendants can  unilaterally lay claim to it, but they  have not done that because they have respect and honor for ancient history and tradition of Egbema  kingdom.

The Ogondi Descendants affirmed that the title of Pere Koriwei is the exclusive right of Jamagie Community in Egbema kingdom  traditionally from our history  conferred on a designated person selected by the whole community and endorsed by the Amakosuowei ( the eldest Man ) of Jamagie Community who in turn recommends the designated candidate to the  Agadagba of Egbema
kingdom  for confirmation as Pere Koriwei of the kingdom inline with Egbema kingdom chieftaincy gazette.

Mr. Sunday Sagbene, the Chairman of Ogondi Descendents who spoke made the  facts  clear saying: ‘’Jamagie community,   founded by Ogondi have three  quarters named Ogondi quarter,  Amabenemor quarter   and Kekeowei quarters of the 3 Kekeowi  quarters is the youngest and the last to come and settle in  Jamagie  community .

Mr. Sunday Sagbene further  disclosed saying : " Our gazetted Pere Koriwei of Egberma Kingdom  is Chief Simeon Ebidouwei David Egbedikru (JP) and we want relevant agencies of Government and the general public for record purpose  to know that Mr Akin German is not the Pere Koriwei of Egbema kingdom  , and he lacks jurisdiction and locus standi to lay claim to the tittle
in a very surreptitious manner which
is sacrilegious to the custom and tradition of Egbema kingdom.

Mr Sunday Sagbene, the Chairman of the Ogondi Descendants  explained that
the tittle of Pere Koriwei is owned  and controlled by the entire  Jamagie Community  which is given in trust to
one person at a time in line with laid down rules and procedures and our
Pere Koriwei who passed through  due diligence and the laid down procedures
of becoming Pere Koriwei with official Government endorsement and dully certified   is Chief Simeon  Ebidouwei
Egbedikru (JP)

Mr Sunday Sagbene the Mouth Piece of the Ogondi Descendants  emphasized
that  Mr Akin German or any other person who is parading himself as Pere Koriwei of Egbema kingdom is an impostor , and he  should be made to face the music in  the appropriate quarters for disparaging such a highly covetted office by the Egbema kingdom.

Speaking further Mr Sagbene said :
" It is true that  Late Chief Boye German
the father of Akin German  was one time Pere Koriwei of Egbema kingdom but that does not translate to mean that the son Akin German is also Pere Koriwei any perception of that manner is an aberration because the post of Pete Koriwei is not hereditary."

In summation Mr Sagbene said :  "  l wish to reiterate that  the general public
should disregard the malicious claim of Mr Akin German and point out the fact that Chief Simeon Ebidouwei David Egbedikru (JP ) is the authentic and only
Pere Koriwei of Egbema kingdom
