 Ukanefimoni Urges Urhobo Indigenes in PTI To Contribute Positively to Its Devt.

Members of the Ukoko Emoto Re Urhobo Re PTI (Urhobo indigenes working in PTI) have been called upon to contribute positively to the overall development of the specialized Institute with a view to move it to enviable standard.


This call was made by Mr. Brown Ukanefimoni, immediate past Deputy Director, Public Affairs Department & Head, Petroleum Training Institute ( PTI), Effurun  when he was honoured by the group with an award of excellence.


Mr Ukanefimoni, who is a native of Agbarho and Olomu with  a Masters Degree in Industrial Labour Relations joined the Institute in 1987 and retired in May, 2022 was a one time chairman of the group. He served meritoriously in various committees and contributed his quota while in service to the advancement of the Institute.


While expressing his appreciation to the group for the honour done him, Mr. Ukanefimoni called on them to sustain and build upon the legacy he left behind.


He commended the management of the Institute led by Dr. Henry A. Adimula for the good work he is doing to ensure that the Institute fulfill it's Vision and Mission of developing competent manpower for the oil & gas and allied industry in Nigeria and beyond, he also commended Mr. Onobrorhien C. Siakpere, Registrar of the Institute for ably assisting the Principal/Chief Executive to steer the ship of PTI.


According to Mr. Ukanefimoni, "I want to express my appreciation to Ukoko Emoto Re Urhobo Re PTI for the opportunity given to me to serve and for the honour done me today. I also commend the management of the Institute led by Dr. Adimula. I want to use this opportunity to call on members of the group to contribute positively to the overall development of PTI."
