High Chief Mike Usige: Celebrating A Rare Gem @ 81

 High Chief Mike Usige (JP) of Igbide kingdom, Our father ,brother , friend and mentor all wrapped in one is today January 15th ,2023 celebrating his 81  fruitful years on plannet earth to the glory of God Almighty.

 High Chief Mike Usige (JP) the   Pilitician  cum Philanthropist from lsoko South  LGA of Delta State is indeed a man of many parts hence it not an easy task to capture what he represents in

 totality in  the passing glance of a work of this short scope.

Even though our highly honored Celebrant is a Spartan  disciplinarian, a man who seek peace and see peace as  a panacea for growth and stability of any Society, he is always ready to  sacrifices

himself for the  underprivileged, .

As our mentor , we know him  too well as

a Personality who is not given to loud  party life style . However,  as expected of the calibre of his genre ,  we his  admirers decided to roll out the drums to mark the birthday of this enigma called Chief Mike Usige ( JP ) who is proudly 81 today with so much girlands  in his quiver to celebrate having crossed  many vistas of achievements unsonged.

The chronicles of Chief Mike Usige

is embellished with much to talk about in a larger volume of his life and time

of positive impact on all those who

come across his path and still counting

because for him to live is to be of service to humanity and to serve God with reverence.

After the periods of training  to acquire knowledge and the requisite education , he  joined an Oil Servising  Company ,as a personnel in Halliburton Oil Producing Company of Nigeria where he worked and retired meritoriously after putting in the best of his service.

The retired but not tired Chief Mike Usige driven by the urge to be of

service to humanity and to make

his prints in the sand of time  ventured 

 into private business, community service and Politics Which is  the vehicle and platform he has been using to change the narrative of his people for good.

 

 As a man whose path is destined to drag fatness According to scriptures, his

 foray into Politics produced fruitful result as he  was chosen as  one time

Member of the Delta State Government Elders Council, a High Chief of Igbide kingdom who have the  ears of the Royal Father, a one time Vice President of Isoko Development Union ( lDU ) and

he  became the full time Presídent 

of the Pan lsoko Union  on Account of the ill health of the then Presídent.

High Chief Mike Usige the man we

are celebrating at 81  according to our

gleanings from Prince Akpo Abugo, the Executive Assistant to Governor Okowa on Social Advocacy ,Chief Usige holds  many positions,  just to name but few ,he was one time first deputy president Isoko development union and

he  rose to be the president general, he is the executive assistant to Gov Okowa on chieftaincy affairs and BOT chairman E. K Clark Solidarity for good governance.

We can affirm from available information at our disposal that 

Chief Mike Usige (JP ) is a dependable engine room who plays alot of critical and strategic positive  role

in PDP Isoko axis to  make Project RT Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori for Góvernór of Delta State come february 2023 a resounding success.

 We have it on good ground , and so we can authoritively posit that Chief Mike Usige our celebrant is a workerholic

though retired he is never tired as he would never rest in his oars until Oborevwori is successfully sworn in as the Governor of Delta State at Dennis Osadebey House come May 29th ,2023.

As we celebrate Chief Mike Usige at 81

we want to put it on record that he is one person who has brought so much sucour, mass oriented projects  to the people of Igbide kingdom in particular and the lsoko nation in general. 

We celebrate Chief Mike Usige because he is a man who is not easily rattled by the noise of battle flags, he is a tested and a trusted  mentor from  whom much

of what we are today is as a result of drinking from his fountain of knowledge.

 The Celebrant, is a traditional Chief and a practising Catholic, he is married with children and grand children who are doing very well across board in their various chosen profession.

Let me sum up my eulogy on Chief Mike Usige JP  by paraphrasing  what Prince Akpo Abugo scripted about him in  a long volume: "The 81 years birthday anniversary , to us   the admirers of Chief Mike Usige is yet another  window of opportunity for us to register our appreciation to God Almighty who has been magnanimous enough to spare  

the life of this  Elderstateman , Leader

and mentor who is  the conscience that guides our conducts towards  the goodwill of mankind ."
