CMPG Commends Oborevwori for Appointing Ighrakpata DBIR Chairman

  




Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, CMPG, has commended Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, for appointing the immediate past member representing Uvwie State Constituency, Chief Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, as Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, DBIR, and other new members of the Board.




The foremost media pressure group in a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Olorogun Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, and State Publicity Secretary, Onajite Malcolm Tagbarha, described Ighrakpata as a perfect gentleman, a team player and a loyal party man. 




The group assured that his wealth of experience in legislative business and as a technocrat will, for sure, boost service delivery, especially in the area of increased but painless revenue generation for the state, by the State Board of Internal Revenue.




CMPG noted that Hon Ighrakpata worked tirelessly before, during and after the 2023 electioneering campaigns, occasioning the landslide victory of the party and candidate, now Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, adding that when Ighrakpata could not make it at the election, the group and indeed the entire PDP political family were pained.




The group thanked governor Oborevwori for deeming it fit to recognize the enviable contributions of the new Board Chairman of DBIR, Ighrakpata, in the scheme of things, saying that his appointment further exposed the unique foresight and competence of the governor to put together a vibrant team for the smooth actualization of his M.O.R.E Agenda, meant to advance Delta.

The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
