Okuokoko - Okene Community Felicitates With Governor Oborevwori, Augoye ----- Hails Orodje As A Quietesential Royal Father

The National Leadership, the Exco,

Prominent Sons and Daughters of the Community at home and in diaspora , Women , Youths, and the entire inhabitants , of Okuokoko - Okene Community in the Great Okpe Local Government Area have sent a warm message of congratulation 

to His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff F O

Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State .


The same token of congratulation was also sent  to Chief James Augoye , the Hon Member , Delta State House of Assembly, Representing  Okpe Constituency, and Senator Ede Dafinone  over their successful  inauguration on the 29th of May 2023 and June 13th respectively.


The Okuokoko - Okene Community Exco in their congratulatory message also felicitated with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori over the successful

  celebration of his Diamond age Birthday, which which was celebrated on the 20th of June 2023 and the superlative thanksgiving service conducted to honor God Almighty at the Winners Chapel in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.



The Community Leadership made these observations on Sunday 18th June 2023 when they rolled out the drums to celebrate Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , Senator Ede Dafinone and  Chief James Augoye as their illustrious Sons  whom God has bestowed honor upon by divine

Providence.



Evang Believe Etatohwoma , President General, Okuokoko -Okene Community 

who spoke to the Media during the celebration said, the Community is in

a state of deep joy because of the honor 

God bestowed on the Community by

making their illustrious Son RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to occupy the exalted seat of power in Dennis Osadebey House Asaba as the Governor of our great State.


 

Evang Etatohwoma, the Okuokoko - Okene President General stated in his congratulatory message that the impressive outing of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori within the short period of taking over the mantle of Leadership is an indication that the MORE -Mantra Agenda Will deliver more dividends of democracy as promised.


According to Evang Etatohwoma,

the Street Credibility Governor, who is a tested grassroot politician can be trusted to distrbute the dividends of democracy without bias or any form of ethnocentric inclinations because 

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a detribalized Leader  ready to

give equal attention to the three senatorial districts in the overall 

 interest of all stakeholders across board.



The Okuokoko -Okene P G noted

in his goodwill message that the 

coming of Oborevwori into power 

against all odds is a clear signal

that God wants to use Governor Oborevwori as a pen in His hand

to change the narratives of Deltans

through the instrumentality of the good things encapsulated in the MORE Agenda .


Shedding more light on the good things to come,Etatohwoma , the Okuokoko Community boss said: " Based on the Pedigree of what we know about our amiable Governor when he was the Speaker ,Delta State House of Assembly , Deltans are in  safe hands and they can be restassurred that this new dispensation of the Sheriffied Delta in indeed a new dawn of better things to come because the Governor is a promise keeper.



While calling on all Deltans to key into the MORE Agenda and remain continuously focused on the Campaign Promise of Governor Oborevwori ,

 Etatohwoma , onbehalf of the entire Okuokoko Community reiterated

their unalloyed support and total solidarity to the administration of RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.


 Speaking in the same vein, in a related development, Evang Etatohwoma 

thought it germane to also Congratulate HRM ,Major General Patrick Muejakperuo ,the Orodje of Okpe, Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council who is indeed the Lucky Royal Father of Governnor Sheriff Oborevwori.

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained.
