the  State decided to embark

on this Road Project due to the  fundamental need to mitigate the chalenges of perennial flooding in the Area.

The Governor clarified and reaffirmed that his administration is

committed to giving equal attention to both Rural and Urban Roads in the State,  hence the recent  Exco approval of three flyovers to

be constructed in Warri and Uvwie

to   Check the problem of persistent traffic gridlock in Warri and Effurun  Metropolis  and also to ensure that the State is in the touchline of needed Road infrastructures in tune

with  contemporary reality.

of democracy to the  constellation of all Deltans across the three Senatorial Districts.

on the economic life   of the People both in commerce and industry.

While emphasizing the need for quality service delivery by Contractors, Governor Oborevwori

the visit of the Governor to Okpolo - Enhwe to Commission the 2.6km Road   is an eloquent testament of the MORE Agenda

at Work by our indifatigable Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Chief Kennedy Idolor, noted that the benevolent gesture of the   Governor towards Okpolo - Enhwe People in particular and  the

lsoko Nation in general speaks volume about the listening disposition of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, as a man with a good dose of empathy .

He went further to mention and commend the commitment and doggedness of the Delta State Government with a major plank of massive Infrastructural Development, anchored by our amiable former Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa whose brain child it was, to systematically correct all wrongs of deprivation and marginalization meted to the Isoko Nation and other parts of the State by revisiting this project, which was originally conceptualized in 1975 by the then Military Governor of Old Bendel State, Brig. Gen Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia, of blessed memory,

it was commenced but abandoned shortly afterwards. Since then, no subsequent Government has contemplated considering bringing it back to light,.

While appreciating our current indefatigable Governor for ensuring continuity of this project to completion, Idolor said: " What Góvernór Oborevwori has done for Okpolo Enwhe   exemplifies the beauty of governance and continuity. "

The Community President General remarked that

it is also worthy of note, to put on record  the invaluable role exhibited by the architect and think - tank who speedily pushed this project forward from inception to completion by readily making resources available and personally visited the site at intervals in the course of execution, a man with an uncommon personality, in person of the Chairman, De Wayles Group of Companies, whom  he described as the "Supreme High Chief, in person of High Chief Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore (JP). He has been very instrumental, as the major personality who  influenced this project to the community.

This is also partly attributed to the selfless service and benevolence  of the Chairman, High Chief Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore (JP) who is consistent in rendering his best to the Isoko Nation and ensuring that Isoko is not relegated to the background in the scheme of events and to key into the vision of good governance of Delta state in this direction. On behalf of the Community, Chief Idolor  thanked Governor Oborevwori for his magnanimous disposition towards

the Okpolo - Enwhe People.

Hon Charles Aniagwu, the Delta State Hon Commissioner for Works

Hon Aniagwu noted that from

the quality of job done coupled with the speed ,  the precision and the engineering expertise displayed

in the construction of Okpolo/Enhwe/Uwheru Road (Phase 2) it goes a long way to

show  that our indigenous companies can walk shoulder high with foreign firms if they are properly motivated.

Hon Victor Asasa, The Executive Chairman, lsoko South Local Government Area  in his goodwill  message stated that Governnor Sheriff Oborevwori  with a harvest of Projects lined up to be Commissoned, within the First 100 Days in Office has   proven his  mettle beyond all reasonable doubt

that he truly meant well for Deltans

as a man of capacity with uncommon admistrative sagacity, matching words with action using the instruments of the MORE Agenda
