in their appraisal  that the

Governor's  good Performance and numerous achievements within the

First 100 Days in office has demonstrated that he came into  the Dennis Osadebey House prepared  With

determination to move Delta State to

greater heights no matter whose ox is

gored.

series of Projects and have commenced

the execution of many , such as the construction of  Umeh bridge, payment of N5 .522 bn  Promotion arrears for

civil servants , fully facilitated and guaranteed N40 bn  Pension Payment for Local Government Councils Pensioneers, Approval of N10,000 Payment to each of the 50,196 civil servants in  the State, including the ten tertiary institutions for three months

well in other Areas , like the desilting

as part of measures to tackle flooding

in Warri, Uvwie and environs

According to Comrade Mike Tiemo

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a goal getter  who has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that indeed he places priority on the Welfare of the electorates

for the overall  benefit of the Government and good People of Delta State.

Comrade Mike J K Tiemo Who seized the opportunity to call on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to also focus

on  the Riverine Communities , said:"

Considering the remote nature of the Riverine Communities , we want our amiable Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to

also focus his developmental effort  on the Riverine Communities which has been marginalized in terms of basic amenities such as portable drinking Water , Medical Facilities and good

classrooms   buildings to study which are absent in most of the Riverine Areas

particularly  in Egbema Communities

in Warri North LGA and it's environs.

Speaking further with emphasis

Comrade Mike Tiemo added:" Let me make a humble  appeal to His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to pay  a working visit to tour these Riverine Communities to have a first hand on the spot assessment to ascertain the  deplorable situation facing the inhabitants who are living

in the pilluted environment of oil exploration, exploitation, and exportation .

Comrade Mike JK Tiemo the Group President  Who seized the opportunity to sue

for Peace amongst the various ethnic nationalities, said: " It is worthwhile and necessary   for me at this juncture to call on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to meet or talk with his

counterpart Governor Rotimi Akeredolu

of Ondo State to imnediately call on those llajes Who are trying to  create a vacuum of controversies to call back the already gone

communal crises between the ljaws and llajes in Delta and Ondo States to desist from such naferious actions which is

caple of snowballing in chaos and anarchy.

The Niger Delta Humanitarian boss

remarked  further saying :  " The ljaws and the llajes have a common

boundary in the sea (Offshore) right

from accient which is not nascent

to be disputed but as a matter of fact, the Communities or the of ljaws of Opuama,  Tsekelewu, Polobubo

lkpalakpalabogbene , Tubugbene

Opuekeuba ,  Ajagbene,Tububiri, etc are

all in Egbema Kingdom , in Warri North

Local Government Area in Delta State

but not in  Ondo State as alleged by

the  misinformed or misled  talebearers who are indigenes of Ondo

State.

He advised that the focus and candid position of Niger Deltans , should be how to better the lot of the Oil producing

Communities who are suffering untold

effects of the activities of oil exploration

and it's devastitating effect.

In summation he said: " Supplimentrirly, l want to state unequivocally that the  3 Percent PIA, Which is the Petroleum lndusrtry Act, in my own estimation is

is not commensurate to mitigate the effects, rather l see it as  the total denial of the heir apparent of the inhabitants of

the Niger Deltans, hence my appeal remains centered on how we can all move the Niger Delta forward with our collective effort in one accord."

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
