Tonye Bobo Emerges As Chairman For Second Tenure As Presidential Amnesty Phase 3 Ex - Agitators Holds Their General Election At Ughelli

General Tonye Bobo , the Chairman

of the Ex - Agitators , Presidential Amnesty  Phase 3 was on Thursday, 14th ,September  2023 was 



 re- elected as

the substantive National Chairman

for his second tenure 

to pilot the affairs of the Ex - Agitators  together with other members of Exco.


 The general election which took place at  Run Town

Carwash Bar opposite Heroes of Faith Church , East West Road, Ughelli Town, in Delta was well conducted in line with the bye laws

which regulates the activities of the

Ex - Agitators ,

Presidential Amnesty Phase.



To begin the election proper, first,

 the  National Exco was dissolved

with every one was asked to step aside

and a five Man Electoral Committee

was set up with Samson Okou as Chairman, Elder Goodluck Ose, Secretary, Albert Guy, Speaker, while

Edmund Amos and Kelvin Diye are members.



Samson Okou Who addressed the

General Assembly of the Ex- Agitators , stated the importance of the exercise and the need to conduct the election with decorum so that the process will be very transparent with everything done in the atmosphere of fairness equity and justice.



Samson Okou  the  Third Phase Electoral Committee Chair  maintained that the exercise is met to sanitize the house and  to ensure that

the leadership of the third Phase is  

well coordinated with the guiding 

principles of democracy where power must be taken through the

ballot in a majority vote but not by force.



For the Post of the National Chairman, five persons signified interest to contest for it, the list included  Akarume Enumuba, From Delta , Agas Odiri Kingsley From Delta, Tonye Bobo , from Bayelsa

, Election Kpellkpa and Bulutorou 


In the process of Presentation of their various manifestoes , the duo

of  Election Kpellkpa and Agas Odiri Kingsley stepped down for General Tonye Bobo whom the discovered

to have good understanding of how best to manage the affairs of the Ex - Agitators of the Presidential Amnesty Phase.


The election was conducted by the Electoral Committee for the three candidates that were left, and General Tonye Bobo polled  70 

Votes to emerge winner while Bulutorou who came second polled

16 Votes and Akarume Enumuba got

 14 votes to come out in the third position.


Having polled the majority of the Votes , the Electoral Committee Pronounced and declared General Tonye Bobo as the Winner and National Chairman elected for the Second tenure from Bayelsa State.


The election for the position of Vice

National Chairman, was not contested as General Birinumugham Jesse was returned unopposed as the National Vice Chairman from Delta State.

General Tonye Bobo in his inaugural

speech thanked the  general Assembly of the Ex - Agitators, Presidential Amnesty Phase 3 for the confidence reposed on him and

counting him worthy to be 

massively elected  as the National Chairman of Presidential Amnesty Phase 3 for his second tenure.


 The newly elected General Tonye Bobo called on all members to maintain peace , unity and oneness of purpose, so that together they can move the PAP Phase 3 body to

greater heights.


While advicing all members to remain focus and steadfast on the various proposals on ground, he commended the laudable effort of General Barry Ndiomu, the Interim Admistrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme who has done

so much to meet the needs of the Ex - Agitators.


General Tonye Bobo emphasized

that the Co-operative arrangement introduced by  Genera Barry Ndiomu is a project graciouslly put in place by the Interim Admistrator to better the life of all the Ex -Agitors.



He advised all members to give their total support to General Barry Ndiomu (rtd) so that he can do more  for them as a man with fatherly love towards them.


ln the same vein ,

Tonye Bobo also called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

and other relevant Agencies of the Federal  Government to give all the necessary support needed by General 

Barry Ndiomu (Rtd) to record more 

success as he has been doing very well since he took over the saddle of the leadership of the PAP office.
