Comrade Mike Tirmo Declares For Warri North LGA Chairmanship

The Popular President of the Egbema Communities Peace, Development And Humanitarian Rights Association in Delta and Edo State, and also the President of the Peace Development Security And Humanitarian Rights Association of Niger Deltans has officially  declared his intention to run for the Chairmanship position of Warri North Local government Council in the forth coming Delta State Local Government election under the platform of the People's Democratic party.


Comrade  Mike Tiemo the renowned Humanitarian activist made his ambition known to senior media practitioners

in Warri during a press briefing organised for the purpose of informing the general public and relevant stakeholders of his intention to vie for the the Chairmanship of Warri North

Local Government Area.


The declaration statement made available to Daily Independent Newspaper Reads in part:


,"My Fellow Citizens and Esteemed Stakeholders, of Warri North Local Government Area ,With great humility and a profound sense of duty, I, Comrade Mike  Jonathan Kilete Tiemo, hereby declare my candidacy for the esteemed position of Warri North Local Government Area Chairmanship.


Born out of the noble soil of Egbema Kingdom, I stand before you as a fervent advocate for grassroots empowerment and unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. My journey as a Popular Humanitarian Activist has been marked by tireless efforts to uplift the lives of our people, transcending barriers of discrimination and embracing the spirit of unity.


As the President of the Egbema Communities Peace, Development And Humanitarian Rights Association in Delta and Edo State, and also as the President of the Peace Development Security And Humanitarian Rights Association of Niger Deltans, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges facing our communities and the pressing need for effective leadership at the local  Government level.


It is my solemn  pledge and promise , that  if l am entrusted with the mandate of Warri North LGA Chairmanship, I will serve with integrity, diligence, and inclusivity. 


My vision and mission is  for our beloved LGA is to become one of the most  progressive, prosperous, and equitable development for all where a good legacy will be established.

The Statement continued: "I shall work tirelessly to ensure that every voice is heard, every need is addressed, and  opportunity  for youth and woman empowerment, community development, employment, capacity building will be  extended to our people

without segregation.


Shedding more light on his ambition, Comrade Mike Tiemo said:I appeal to our esteemed and amiable  Governor of the People, His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori ,

Party Leaders, delegates, and all relevant stakeholders to consider my candidacy with utmost sincerity. 

Continuing, he added: "Together, let us embark on a journey of transformation, Unity and love   where the aspirations of our people will  become the cornerstone of governance, and the principles of justice and equity guide our every decision in Warri North Local  Government  Area.


While soliciting for more support, Comrade Tiemo remarked,:

"With your support and blessings, I am confident that we can usher in a new era of prosperity and unity for Warri North Local Government Area in line with the MORE Agenda.

ln summation he said,: " l Thank  the good people of Warri Local government area and may the spirit of solidarity guide us in the path ahead to success."

In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
