Delta State Chapter, has Congratulated His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwor the Executive Governor of Delta State  on the occasion of  his 61st Birthday.

Comrade Sweet Otiotio, a prominent youth leader of the Urhobo ethnic nationality,  under the Delta State Chapter of HOSTCOM in a heartfelt gesture of unity and solidarity, extended his warm congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwor on the occasion of his 61st birthday. 

The Urhobo HOSTCOM who serves under the aegis of the Delta State Chapter of Host Communities of Nigeria, Producing Oil and Gas  expressed his best wishes to the governor, highlighting his significant contributions to the state and the nation at large.

In his congratulatory message, Comrade Otiotio lauded Governor Oborevwor for his visionary leadership and commitment to the development of Delta State. He emphasized that the governor's efforts have brought about substantial improvements in the lives of the people, particularly those in the oil-producing communities.

He said Governor Oborevwor has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the welfare of our people, fostering economic growth, infrastructural development, and social harmony.

Otiotio noted that the  administration

of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori  has prioritized the needs of the host communities, ensuring that they benefit from the resources generated from their lands," 

Continuing, he stated: "Under Governor Oborevwor's leadership, Delta State has seen numerous advancements, including the implementation of various development projects aimed at improving the standard of living for its residents. "

Comrade Otiotio pointed out the Governor's role in advocating for fair revenue allocation to oil-producing regions and his efforts in ensuring that the host communities receive their due entitlements.


Comrade Otiotio also took the opportunity to highlight the importance of unity and collaboration between the government and the host communities. He urged all stakeholders to continue supporting the Governor's initiatives, which are geared towards sustainable development and the overall betterment of the state using the instrumentality of the MORE AGENDA.

The goodwill message continued:

"At 61, Governor Oborevwor has achieved remarkable milestones, and we are confident that he will continue to lead Delta State towards greater heights. We, the youths and members of HOSTCOM, stand firmly behind his vision and are committed to working together to achieve our common goals," Comrade Otiotio affirmed.
