Deltans Happy With The Positive Impact of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's MORE Agenda, Says The Odion of Emevor Kingdom

The first one year of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's tenure has indeed set a positive trajectory for Delta State, and with the continued implementation of the MORE Agenda, the future looks promising for all Deltans.


The glitz and the glamor that goes with annivversaries celebration was at its peak in Delta State as  Governor Sheriff Oborevwori  celebrated his first one year in office. Stakeholders across board rolled out the drums to celebrate   the wonders of the MORE AGENDA.


One of these significant figures who was readily on ground to tell the success story of the Governor is the Royal Father of Emevor Kingdom.

His Royal Highness Dr. John Holt Ologho, the Odion of Emevor Kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area, who Spoke to the Media  expressed his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of the Governor's first anniversary in office. 


HRH Dr. Ologho the Odion of Emevor Kingdom while celebrating the first annivversary  milestone of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on May 29, 2024, 

highlighted the remarkable achievements and positive changes brought about by Governor Oborevwori's MORE Agenda.

The  Emevor Royal Father in his statement,  commended the Governor's dedication to the development and progress of Delta State. 

He emphasized during the interactive session that Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the welfare of all Deltans across the three senatorial districts without bias as a detribalized grassroot political leader.


He observed during the Media chat that Governor Oborevwori's  MORE Agenda, focusing on Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security, has already started yielding significant results, hence Deltans are happy.

Dr John Holt said under the Meaningful Development pillar, the Governor has overseen numerous infrastructural projects that have improved the quality of life for Deltans. 

He stressed that the Governor has done very well from road construction to flyovers construction  and rehabilitation to the enhancement of educational facilities, the impact of these projects is evident across the state. 

HRH Dr. Ologho noted, "The newly constructed 4.04 km Emevor - Orogun 

road in Isoko North and other parts of the state have not only eased transportation but have also boosted economic activities. Schools and healthcare facilities are receiving much-needed upgrades, ensuring that our children and citizens have access to better education and healthcare services."


Opportunities for All


Governor Oborevwori's commitment to creating Opportunities for All has been particularly transformative. Various empowerment programs targeting youth and women have been launched, providing them with the skills and resources needed to thrive. "The youth empowerment initiatives are a testament to the Governor's vision of a prosperous future for our state. These programs are equipping our young people with vocational skills, fostering entrepreneurship, and reducing unemployment," HRH Dr. Ologho emphasized.


Realistic Reforms


The Realistic Reforms agenda has brought about significant improvements in governance and public service delivery. The Governor's emphasis on transparency, accountability, and efficiency has restored public trust in government institutions. "Governor Oborevwori's administration has introduced reforms that are making our government more responsive and efficient. His prudent ability to manage resources  and his promotion of good governance are crucial elements for sustainable development," stated the Odion of Emevor Kingdom.


Enhanced Peace and Security


Peace and security have been top priorities for Governor Oborevwori, and his efforts in this area have not gone unnoticed. The establishment of community policing initiatives and the strengthening of security infrastructure have contributed to a safer environment for all Deltans. "Our communities are now more secure, thanks to the Governor's proactive measures in enhancing peace and security. This stability is essential for the continued growth and development of our state," HRH Dr. Ologho remarked.


The Emevor Monarch made a Compassionate appeal to the Governor

to establish a Cottage Hospital  Emevor to help bridge the gap in access to good Medical facilities to inhaitants of Emevor Community and its environs.


In conclusion, the Odion of Emevor Kingdom commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the progress of Delta State. He urged all Deltans to continue supporting the Governor's efforts and to work together towards a brighter and more prosperous future. "As we celebrate this first anniversary, let us renew our dedication to the collective development of Delta State. Together, we can achieve greater heights under the exemplary leadership of Governor Oborevwori," HRH Dr. Ologho concluded.

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute.
