Ethiope East PDP commences Council Election Campaigns June 12 - Latimore ..Says Ogedegbe's landslide victory at the polls non-negotiable

 

Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Felix Erhimedafe, has released the 2024 LGA council electioneering campaigns time table scheduled to commence on Wednesday June 12.

A statement on Monday by the Chairman of Media and Publicity Directorate, Dr Fred  Latimore Oghenesivbe, said the campaigns will commence with visits to Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, Ovie of Umiaghwa Kingdom and Ovie of Oruarivie Kingdom on Wednesday June 12, as well as visit to the President General of Urhobo Progress Union.


He disclosed that the party's Chairmanship candidate for the election, Hon Augustine Ogedegbe and Councillorship candidates shall be the main focus of the electioneering campaigns across federal and Dsiec wards of the LGA, while urging party faithfuls and supporters to turn out en-mass to campaign vigorously from June 12 to 15, 2024.


Oghenesivbe said the foreseeable victory of PDP in the forthcoming LGA council elections is eminently anchored on the choice of generally acceptable candidates who have been tested and trusted over the years, adding that the pedigree and widespread popularity of the council chairmanship candidate, Hon Augustine Ogedegbe, guarantee landslide victory.


He assured that Ogedegbe's unalloyed loyalty to PDP cum political experience, uncommon humility, and his empowerment tenacity for youths and women spanning nearly two decades shall resonate positively at the polls in the forthcoming local council election in the LGA.


The party LGA Campaign Council Chief Publicist stated unequivocally that PDP is the only party in Ethiope East LGA, with no visible opposition that would abysmally match the political sagacity, solid grassroots connections and penetration of the ruling party in the state, under the pragmatic and visionary leadership of His Excellency, the Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, JP.


"Ethiope East Campaign Council Chairman, Hon Felix Erhimedafe will be leading a solid team of party elders, leaders, party faithfuls and supporters to campaign vigorously for the landslide victory of the LGA Council Chairmanship candidate, Hon Augustine Ogedegbe and Councillorship candidates across federal and Dsiec wards begining from June 12.


"It is mandatory for all party candidates to feature prominently during the electioneering campaigns, and to mobilize heavily to receive the LGA campaign council electioneering train in their respective wards and political domains.





"Our state party leader, His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori clear instructions to us is to further articulate government achievements, the gains and benefits of the MORE agenda of his administration to our people, so as to consolidate on the the ongoing uncommon socioeconomic and infrastructure development currently experienced across the three senatorial districts.


"We have a vibrant Chairmanship candidate, Hon Ogedegbe, is in a hurry to unleash uncommon transformation and multifaceted dividends of democracy on the good people of Ethiope East. His landslide victory is not negotiable, a task that must be done. Therefore, we must roll-up our sleeves and hit the ground running.


"The LGA Council electioneering campaigns in Ethiope East will commence on Wednesday June 12 with visits to royal fathers, as well as the President General of UPU. Campaigns shall terminates on June 15 in Samagidi, Agbon Kingdom.


"All candidates, party elders and leaders, party faithfuls and supporters are expected to turn out in their large numbers, and in PDP's green, red and white colours to demonstrate and to reaffirm the political supremacy of our great party," Oghenesivbe said.
