Comrade Francis Obule JP , the Senior Special  Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters has advised  the  OSU people of Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Constitency and  Delta State in general to be patient with  His Excellency, Gov Sheriff Oborevwori because with time all their needs shall be met in terms of political appointments and infrastructural development within OSU and Delta State as a whole.

Obule the Gov Aide who  spoke in Warri  stated that the Governor has started very well by hitting the ground running with the new phase of Julius Berger in town, adding that as of today you cannot recognize  PTI  junction, DSC Round about  Enerhen junction and many other areas where numerous construction works are going  on at various level of completion.

Comrade Obule advised  his younger brother saying: " l advise my brother , Bishop DR  Kingsley Majemite aka Obaba 1 to be patient with Governor  Oborevwori., Who is on track developing Delta State."

Continuing Obule said: " l know you have  worked hard for PDP in our ward as you always contribute your quota to  PDP victory in our Ward in all elections, but don't because of banana run away from an elephant that is already killed by His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori the Governor of Delta State."

Obule explained that many personalities have occupied the position of NDDC rep before from the Okpe axis such as late Chief Tom Amioku , Adarval Arenyinka from Delta South, Emmanuel Ogidi from lsoko and many others.

He clarified that the current rep was  the  Chairman of Sapele local governments for two tenure between 1999 to 2007. He was  a Member

Delta State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2017, noting that during this period under review, he served in various capacity such as chairman House Committee on DESOPADEC and Speaker Delta State House of Assembly.

Going further Obule said:  "Within this period under review from Edegborode to Elume main Town was Unmotorable  , but between 2018 to 2019, those areas were tarred by former Governor Arthur lfeanyi Okowa when our incumbent  Governor was the speaker who approved those projects in the House of Assembly.

Obule pointed out saying : " Before now, Sapele used to be one Way in one way out, but today , the the narrative has changed for better because now we can connect new road through Okrigbagha down to power line to Shell Road down to new Road to Lawrence Road and many others.

According to Obule , between 1999 to 2017, it was not so.

He remarked: "". The construction and beatification of Sapele Market was done between 2018 , 2019 down 2023 by Gov Okowa with support from Sheriff Oboreveori led House of Assembly.

"I know the pains of Dr Kingsley Emajemite from  Ward 11 because of  fear of being given banana to eat  when you have an elephant already killed  by His Excellency ,waiting to be butchered."

Without any iota  of doubt, l want to assure the entire OSU and Delta State as a whole that the MORE AGENDA  is the best thing to focus on as we pray for our amiable Governor, ,,His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

Obule pointed out that the government is less than a Year and few months, we  don't need to be worried but to be prayerful.

He added ;" Remember  what the devil told Jesus in Mathew  4 :4  just to deceive   Him and  the response from Jesus is what we are seeing today based on the comparison between banana and the elephant because if Jesus accepted the Will of the devil, Jesus would have missed all the promises he came to fulfilled

Obule stressed that it will be foolishness to focus on banana and run away from a giant elephant.

Conclusively , he said: "  We the people of Sapele should be Wise to focus on PDP especially now

that we the OSU are at  the helm's of affairs because all we need to do now is to pray for Excellency , to achieve the best of the MORE AGENDA.

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
