The PDP Supporters Network, one of the most vibrant and reliable support groups, led by Comrade Paul Abaide, has extended their heartfelt congratulations to Hon Isaiah  Esiovwa,, the  newly elected ALGON Chairman in Delta State, all the Chairmen  and Counselors  who came out  victorious in the Delta State Local Government polls.

The group, representing the collective voice of dedicated PDP supporters, celebrated the successful elections and the emergence of new leadership across various local government areas.

The PDP Supporters Network expressed their satisfaction with the electoral process, asserting that the elections were conducted in a free, fair, and credible manner. This accomplishment, they emphasized, is a testament to the commitment to democracy and transparency upheld by all stakeholders involved.

A significant highlight of the group's congratulatory message was directed towards Hon. Dr. Kingsley Esiso, the PDP Chairman in Delta State. Under his astute leadership, the party has achieved remarkable milestones, including the successful mobilization and inauguration of two governors during his tenure. His strategic guidance and unwavering dedication have been pivotal in steering the party to such resounding victories.

Comrade Paul Abaide, the State Coordinator of the PDP Supporters Network, lauded Dr. Esiso’s efforts in fostering unity and resilience within the party. He noted that the PDP's ability to secure a landslide victory in the local government polls is a reflection of the solid foundation laid by the party's leadership.

The Group also appreciated the invaluable contribution of Mr Fred Oborevwori, who worked assiduously round the clock during the campaigns to make sure that PDP Sweep all the votes in the just concluded Delta Local government election.

Fred Oborevwori was  indeed on ground,  seeing to it that there is victory in all the wards instead of going abroad as the governor's son , we give him kudos.

Joining in the commendation were Comrade Rochester Jesuteke, the Public Relations Officer of the PDP Supporters Network, and Hon. Jackson Olokpa, the PSP Adviser. They emphasized the importance of continued support and collaboration among party members to ensure sustained progress and development across Delta State.

The PDP Supporters Network also extended their best wishes to Esiovwa, the newly inaugurated ALGON Chair, and all the newly elected local government chairmen. They expressed confidence in the newly elected officials' ability to lead with integrity and dedication, fostering growth and prosperity in their respective local governments and wards.

As the PDP Supporters Network celebrates these victories, they reaffirmed  their commitment to supporting the party’s leadership and working tirelessly to uphold the principles of democracy and good governance in Delta State.

They also appeal to the amiable Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State who used the  instrumentality of the superlative MORE AGENDA to make the local government election , a work over to also remember the group for employment and capacity building appointments, which is necessary for them to grow in the system.

However, Comrade  Abaide appealed compassionately to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to remember the group for Political  appointments so that they can function more efficiently for the success of PDP both now and in the nearest future.

PTI Defends Its Reputation Against Misleading Sahara Media Report By Wilson Macaulay Effurun, Delta State July 12 2025 The Management of the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has vehemently refuted a sensational and malicious report published by Sahara Reporters on July 10, 2025, which alleged that students of the foremost oil and gas institution study in “flooded classrooms and snake-infested hostels” despite a ₦39 billion budget. Describing the publication as “baseless, mischievous, and an orchestrated attempt to malign the integrity of the institution,” PTI Management said the report is not only factually inaccurate but also a deliberate attack on the hard-earned reputation and progress of the institution under its current leadership. In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the management declared: > “There are absolutely no flooded classrooms or snake-infested hostels within the Institute. These claims are complete fabrications devoid of any evidence or truth.” Management further challenged Sahara Reporters to produce any verifiable photographic or video proof to substantiate its claims. > “If such conditions exist as alleged, Sahara Reporters should have no difficulty presenting concrete evidence. Until then, their report remains a reckless misrepresentation aimed at misleading the public.” PTI clarified that all its lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, and hostels are structurally sound, properly ventilated, electrically powered, and routinely maintained. The Institute prides itself on maintaining a safe and conducive academic environment for learning, innovation, and professional development in the oil and gas sector. The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
