PDP Supporters Network Mobilize For Esiovwa /Otikiri for Okpe LGA Chairmanship, Passes Vote of Confidence on All PDP Councillorship Candidates in Okpe LGA

The PDP Supporters Network, under the leadership of Comrade Paul Abaide, has launched an intensive campaign to secure the re-election of Okakuro Isaiah Onoriode Esiovwa (JP) and Mrs. Mary Otikiri for the position of Chairman and Vice Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area (LGA) in the forth Coming July 13th 2024 local government election.

. The   PSN mobilization effort has undertaken a  widespread engagement and a strong push for voters to support all  the PDP candidates so that Okpe can get the full benefits of the MORE AGENDA.

Addressing a gathering at Opuraja during the campaign tour, Comrade Paul Abaide, the State Coordinator of the PDP Supporters Network, emphasized the group's unanimous vote of confidence passed on the  all PDP candidates standing for the upcoming elections. Abaide called upon all residents of Okpe, both indigenous and non-indigenous, to ensure they have their Permanent Voter's Card  (PVCs) ready for the election day on July 13, 2024, urging them to vote enmass for Esiovwa and all the PDP Councillorship candidates in Okpe LGA.

Highlighting the achievements of Esiovwa during his first tenure, Abaide stressed the importance of continuity to further the progress initiated under his leadership. He noted that Esiovwa's administration has brought significant benefits to Okpe LGA,, aligning with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's MORE Agenda, which has delivered substantial dividends of democracy to the people.

In his speech, Abaide also lauded the contributions of several key figures within the party, including Hon. Dr. Joseph Otirhue, Chairman of the Okpe LGA PDP Campaign Council, Hon. Efe Uko, PDP Chairman, Okpe LGA, Hon. Chief James Augoye, Delta State House of Assembly member representing Okpe Constituency, Hon. Godwin Ejiyenre, and Prof. Sam Oyovbaire, Chairman of the Delta State Elders Advisory Council/Peace Building Committee, Mr Fred Oborevwori, Assistant Coordinator, Security Committee. 

The  dedication and effort of the  personalities mentioned according to Abaide has  been very  instrumental in steering the party towards anticipated success.

Comrade Rochester Jesuteke, the Public Relations Officer of the PDP Supporters Network, who concurred with  Abaide's view, urged all Okpe indigenes, non-indigenes, and friends of Okpe, both locally and in the diaspora, to rally behind Esiovwa's candidacy. He stressed the importance of widespread voter turnout to ensure the continued realization of the MORE Agenda's developmental objectives.

Jesuteke asserted that a vote for the PDP is a vote for accelerated development and unparalleled progress for the people of Okpe Kingdom. He encouraged all eligible voters to come out in full force to support the PDP, ensuring the party's victory at the polls.

Hon. Jackson Olokpa, the immediate past Secretary of Okpe LGA and State Adviser to the PDP Supporters Network, expressed his gratitude to the leadership of various committees for their unwavering support and commitment to the party's successful advancement. He acknowledged their efforts in standing firm and championing the cause, which he believes will lead to a resounding victory for the PDP in Okpe LGA and beyond.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
