Urhobo HOSTCOM Youths Honor the Legacy of Former Governor Okowa @ 65 as a Pillar of Democracy / Excellence

 The Urhobo Ethnic Nationality Youth Wing of the Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM), Delta State Chapter, has extended their  heartfelt birthday wishes to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on his 65th birthday.

 The Urhobo HOSTCOM Youth Wing  Led by Comrade Sweet Otiotio, in the  message made available to the Press recognized Governor Okowa's unwavering commitment  as a pillar of democracy with exceptional legacy of excellence.

Comrade Otiotio in the congregatory message 

highlighted  former Governor Okowa's transformative impact on Delta State during his tenure as the Road Master Governor.

The  Statement further added; "Governor Okowa has been a beacon of hope and progress for Delta State. His dedication to democratic principles and his tireless efforts in fostering development  left an indelible mark on  the State," Otiotio remarked.

 The former Governor , who served as the Governor of Delta State from 2015 to 2023, is celebrated for his numerous achievements, including significant infrastructural development, healthcare improvements, and educational advancements. His administration's focus on inclusive governance and sustainable development in his  era garnered widespread acclaim.

"Today, as we honor  former Governor Okowa, we acknowledge his contributions that have paved the way for a brighter future for the Urhobo people and Delta State as a whole. His legacy of excellence service continues to inspire us," Otiotio added.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum. While assuring stakeholders, parents, and the general public of its unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of its students, the management reiterated its call for responsible journalism and urged media practitioners to verify facts before rushing to publication. “We remain focused on our mandate and will not be distracted by smear campaigns designed to derail our progress.”
