Urhobo Ex-Agitators Group Third Phase Congratulates PAP Administrator Dr. Dennis Otuaro on His Birthday

 In a show of solidarity and admiration, the Urhobo Ex-Agitators  Group Third Phase under the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP)  have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the current PAP Administrator, on the occasion of his birthday. 

This significant gesture underscores the enduring relationship between the leadership of the PAP and the Urhobo ex-militants who have played a crucial role in maintaining peace and development in the Niger Delta region.

Dr. Otuaro, a well-respected figure in the region, has been at the forefront of transforming the amnesty program since his appointment. His commitment to the well-being of ex-agitators and his unwavering efforts to ensure the program's continuity have earned him widespread respect and admiration from various quarters, particularly within the Urhobo community.

In a joint statement signed by Comrade Jedje Agberia Emmanuel, the Chairman of the Urhobo Ex-Agitators, and Comrade Wings Festus, the group’s Secretary, the ex-agitators praised Dr. Otuaro for his visionary leadership, dedication to the peaceful resolution of conflicts, and his profound contributions to the rehabilitation and reintegration of former militants into society. 

The Urhobo Ex Agitators in their congratulatory message also recognized the strong advocacy of the celebrant, Dr Dennis Otuaro for sustainable development and the empowerment of Niger Delta youths.

"Dr. Otuaro’s leadership has brought new hope to the PAP, especially in addressing the challenges faced by ex-agitators. He is a man of peace and a leader who listens to the concerns of his people," 

The statement reads. "Under his guidance, we have witnessed remarkable progress, and we are confident that his vision will continue to uplift the Niger Delta and its people."

The ex-agitators commended Dr. Otuaro for his strategic approach to enhancing the training and empowerment schemes under the amnesty program. His administration has seen a renewed focus on technical education, skills acquisition, and the provision of business support for ex-agitators, which has, in turn, contributed to the socio-economic stability of the region.

Comrade Clement Ofovwi, General Adviser of the Urhobo Ex-Agitators, also lauded Dr. Otuaro’s contributions to the peace-building process in the Niger Delta, stating that his impact transcends the borders of the amnesty program. "Dr. Otuaro has always prioritized the interests of the Niger Delta people. His emphasis on dialogue, reconciliation, and sustainable development has strengthened the peace we enjoy today. We are proud to celebrate him not just as a leader, but as a man of integrity and compassion," Ofovwi said.

The Urhobo Ex-Agitators also acknowledged Dr. Otuaro’s efforts in fostering unity among various ethnic groups within the Niger Delta, highlighting his belief in the power of collaboration and collective progress. "He has always been an advocate for unity among the different ethnic groups in the region, recognizing that our strength lies in our ability to work together towards common goals," the statement noted.

As the PAP Administrator marks another year of life, the Urhobo ex-militants expressed their best wishes for his continued success and well-being. They reiterated their full support for his leadership and assured him of their commitment to the goals of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
