Hon. Prince Akpo Abugo, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Social Advocacy, has described  the Best Governor of the Year award conferred upon His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, by This Day Newspaper and Arise Television, as a testament to visionary leadership.

Governor Oborevwori received the prestigious Best Governor Award at Eko Hotel and Suites on Monday, January 27, 2025, in recognition of his exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to good governance, and transformative impact on the state.

Prince Akpo Abugo in his congratulation message stated that since assuming office, Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to infrastructural development, economic empowerment, and social welfare through his MORE Agenda—a people-centric blueprint driving significant progress across Delta State.

He added that Governor Oborevwori's administration's strategic investments in roads, healthcare, education, and job creation have earned widespread acclaim, setting a new benchmark and justifying the well-deserved Governor of the Year award.

The Senior Governor Aide pointed out that this  award is also a testament of his uncommon outreach and development across the nook and cranny of the state, Deltans love him and second term is assured.

Prince Akpo Abugo emphasized that the award  is a reaffirmation of Governor Oborevwori's status as a dynamic leader whose policies and programs will continue to uplift lives, foster development, and solidify Delta State’s position as a model of excellence.
