PTI Will Remain Committed to the Training of World-Class Manpower for Oil, Gas Sector – Dr. Onoji

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has welcomed 1,625 newly admitted students into its various academic programs for the 2024/2025 session. Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, the Principal and Chief Executive, Engr. Dr. Samuel Onoji, assured students that PTI remains committed to providing world-class technical training tailored for the oil and gas sector.

Dr. Onoji urged students to remain focused, disciplined, and dedicated to their studies, emphasizing the importance of innovation and adaptability in the dynamic oil and gas industry. He also highlighted the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), a government initiative designed to ease students’ financial burdens.

Encouraging students to embrace academic excellence, he warned against engaging in examination misconduct, cultism, drug abuse, and other social vices. He assured parents and guardians that PTI prioritizes creating a conducive learning environment that fosters personal and professional growth.
