Divine Help Farmers Cooperative Breaks New Ground as They Unveiled Digital App and Real Estate

In a bold move towards innovation and members empowerment, the Management of Divine Help Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative Society on Saturday, May 24, 2025, officially launched its Real Estate Division and introduced a dedicated mobile application designed to streamline cooperative operations.

The event, which was held  with great enthusiasm at Mackvia  Plaza  Opposite Ekete inland junction along  DSC Express Way, marked a significant step forward in the Cooperative’s mission to provide tangible benefits for its members while embracing the digital transformation phenomenon that is  shaping our  modern socioeconomic landscape.

In his opening remarks, Evangelist John Esegine, President of Divine Help Farmers Cooperative Society, expressed gratitude to God for the day’s success and commended branch chairmen and their executives for their dedication and service.

“This day has been set aside not just to launch our new Real Estate section, but also to unveil the Divine Help Farmers Mobile App,” he stated. “With this app, our operations will become smoother and more efficient, eliminating the conventional bottlenecks that often hamper administrative processes.”

Evang John Esegine the  President of Divine Help Farmers Cooperative also took the opportunity to deliver a performance report to the members of the Cooperative, thus fulfilling a promise made in a previous meeting. He announced that with the launch of the Real Estate arm, all registered members now qualify to own land and housing through the Cooperative, thereby reducing their dependency on landlords.

“The mobile app will eliminate many of the operational challenges we've faced and usher in a new era of seamless service delivery,” he said.

Pastor Festus Ogbogoro, Managing Director/CEO of Africa Green Gate Limited,  who served as the Chairman of the Occasion and Guest Speaker in his  speech emphasized the importance of real estate as a cornerstone of financial security and long-term investment. Drawing from Robert Kiyosaki’s cash flow quadrant, he urged members to position themselves in the investment quadrant where money works for them.

“Real estate is a powerful asset,” he remarked. “A knowledgeable realtor is a potential billionaire. This new initiative within Divine Help Farmers Cooperative is a significant step toward economic empowerment for all members.”

Mr Ohwe Ovie Fidelis, Prince Edema, the Cooperative Branch Chairman from Ubeji, Engr Lucky lghalo a principal Officer of the Cooperative all who spoke to the Press at the side line expressed their joy over the ability of the Cooperative  Management to achieve this laudable milestone under the leadership of Evang John Esegine who has proven his mettle as dependable leader.

In a goodwill message, Elder Eugene Jacob, President of the Global Movement Against Hunger, called on the federal and state governments to take practical steps toward strengthening food security in Nigeria. He emphasized the need for increased investment in agriculture to combat crime and socio-economic instability.

“Food security is the foundation of any stable society,” he said. “A hungry man is an angry man. We must invest in agribusiness for the good of our nation.”

The technical aspects of the new mobile application was explained by Mr. Patrick Adewale Omotoye, who highlighted its benefits, while Engr Oreva Orior conducted a live presentation of the app's features. Members lauded the innovation and praised the leadership of Evangelist Esegine for steering the Cooperative towards growth and sustainability.

The brand designer took his turn to present the new logo of the Cooperative which tells the story of the Cooperative and reflects the true identity of the Cooperative at a glance.

The event ended on a high note with widespread optimism about the Cooperative’s future as it embraces both technological advancement and strategic asset investment.
