Oghenesivbe congratulates APC Chief Publicist, Morka over CON conferment ...Says strategic political communication backbone of vibrant democracy

 





As goodwill messages continue to pour in for the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, and Chairman of the Board of Nigerian Television Authority, Barrister Felix Morka, over his national recognition, the Director General of Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe has described him as an efficient, result oriented and highly proactive political communication strategist.

He said Morka has not only consistently and professionally articulated the party's progressive stance on nation building, but had also defended and meticulously explained the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, such that citizens across social strata clearly understands the economic remodelling policies and strategic infrastructure development master plan of the federal government.

Dr Oghenesivbe thanked President Bola Tinubu for recognizing Morka's hard work, dedication, patriotism and loyalty to the largest party in Africa, the APC, and by extension Nigeria, saying that Mr President through the national honours bestowed on deserving Nigerians; demonstrated that his administration remains committed to giving honour to those who selflessly serve this nation without blemish.

He noted that Barrister Morka, a proud holder of LL.M law degree of Harvard University, had in time past served humanity selflessly through the Social and Economic Rights Action Centre (SERAC), and also served as Director of Legal Services at the Civil Liberty Organization, CLO, which to a large extent prepared him for greater service to the people, and our country Nigeria.

Dr Oghenesivbe asserted that Morka has raised the stake in strategic political communication far and above his predecessors, making it possible for the largest party in Africa, the APC, to practically excel as the political party of choice in Nigeria, noting that credible information dissemination is an integral part of a vibrant democracy.

The Bureau Chief appealed to Barrister Morka, to create a forum of APC spokespersons, organized capacity building programmes for State Publicists of the party, and constantly update stakeholders in the media sphere on party affairs, issues and policy direction of the federal government.

He emphasized a flawless triangular relationship between the Minister of  information, the Office of the Special Adviser to Mr President on Media and Strategy, as well as the office of the National Publicity of the the APC, so as to sustain the gains of the numerous achievements of Mr President and the consistent growth and watertight unity within the All Progressives Party.

Oghenesivbe prayed God to continue to protect and divinely inspire Barrister Morka in the discharge of his assigned responsibilities, pointing out that all party spokespersons operates in hostile environments requiring adequate security and prayers.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs.
