Senator Dafinone Congratulates Idisi on Federal Appointment, Commends Governor Oborevwori’s Goodwill

The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has extended warm congratulations to Rt. Hon. Lovette Idisi on his recent appointment as Commissioner representing Delta State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

In a congratulatory message dated 18th August 2025, Senator Dafinone described Idisi’s appointment as a “significant recognition of his unwavering dedication to public service, proven leadership, and commitment to the advancement of the people.”

According to him, the new role provides a unique platform for Idisi to “champion equity, fairness, and inclusiveness in Nigeria’s governance structure.” The Senator expressed confidence that Idisi would discharge his duties with “integrity, professionalism, and devotion to the values that strengthen national unity.”

Dafinone also commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his goodwill and support towards Idisi’s emergence, stressing that such political inclusiveness reflects the Governor’s commitment to positioning Deltans for national relevance.

“On behalf of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I wish you great success as you take on this important responsibility. May the Almighty God grant you the strength, insight, and grace to discharge your duties effectively and to the benefit of all,” Dafinone stated.

The Senator reaffirmed his high regard for Idisi and urged him to use the new office to further strengthen unity and fairness in Nigeria.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs.
