Igali Leads PANDEF to Celebrate Engr. Matthew Tonlagha as He Turns 50

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), under the leadership of its National Chairman, Ambassador Godknows Igali, has extended warm congratulations to renowned Niger Delta technocrat and business leader, Engr. Matthew Tonlagha, as he marks his 50th birthday.

In a goodwill message on behalf of PANDEF’s Board of Trustees, National Executive Council, elders, and stakeholders of the Niger Delta, Ambassador Igali described Engr. Tonlagha as a quintessential example of homegrown excellence whose life at 50 reflects uncommon dedication to service, innovation, and community development.

Ambassador Igali noted that Engr. Tonlagha’s professional journey—from his humble beginnings in the creeks of the Niger Delta to becoming a respected boardroom executive and industrial player—embodies the resilience, intellect, and entrepreneurial spirit of the region. According to him, Tonlagha’s achievements have not only elevated indigenous participation in critical sectors of the economy but have also inspired a new generation of Niger Delta youths to pursue excellence with integrity.

The PANDEF Chairman further commended the celebrant for his consistent commitment to human capacity development, youth empowerment, and strategic investments that create jobs and stimulate economic growth within the Niger Delta. He emphasized that beyond corporate success, Engr. Tonlagha has distinguished himself through philanthropy and quiet but impactful interventions aimed at improving lives in underserved communities.
