Iluhagba Community Praises Mangal Cement Industry, as they organize 3-Days Free Medical Outreach Program

 











The Iluhagba Community Development Association, led by National President, Dr. Wale Oyelola, has commended Mangal Cement Industry for its free medical outreach, describing it as a giant step in supporting healthcare delivery in the community. 

Dr. Oyelola praised Mangal Cement Industry for being a responsible organization that prioritizes the host community's interests.   

He said the association will continue to work with the company to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship that enhances the people's livelihood.

He noted that the medical supplies given to the community in December were part of what was being used for the medical outreach, stressing that the community was happy to have such a great organization in their domain.

"On behalf of the beneficiaries, I want to sincerely appreciate Mangal Cement Industry for the kind gesture of providing the community with medical supplies to assist with the healthcare needs of the community."

Also speaking at the event, the General Manager, Administration and Human Resources, Dr Umar Musa said the company will continue to work hard to foster a conducive and harmonious relationship with the host communities.

He noted that the 3-day Iluhagba-Gbede Health Outreach, held at the Olu of Iluhagba-Gbede Palace with the theme "Healthy Living, Happy Community," provides essential healthcare services at no cost to the community, as part of the corporate social responsibility of the organization.

He said the medical team comprises 1 Medical Doctor and 6 Nurses, added that the outreach will run from February 19th – 21st, 2026, daily from 9:00 AM, while the services include free consultations, blood pressure and sugar checks, health education, and referrals.

He said the initiative is powered by Mangal Cement, and pointed out that as the organization progresses, the host communities won't be left behind; it'll be a win-win situation.

The commendation highlights Mangal Cement Industry's commitment to social responsibility in Iluhagba Community.

The Mangal Cement Industry team that witnessed the occasion includes the General Manager, Transport and Logistics, Engr. Muhammad Umar Sanda, and other management staff. 

The monarch of the community, HRH Oba Samuel David Olayemi, led the community chiefs.
