Oghenesivbe Hails Emergence of Chief Iboyitete as APC Ethiope East Chairman, ...Charges Exco to Deliver Victory in 2027









The Director General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Olorogun Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has extended his warmest and most profound congratulations to the newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope East Local Government Area, Chief Midwest Iboyitete, and members of the newly constituted executive committee.

Describing Chief Iboyitete as a tested, trusted, and time-honoured party stalwart, Oghenesivbe declared that his emergence marks the dawn of a new era of unity, strength, and strategic leadership for the APC in Ethiope East.

According to him, Chief Iboyitete has consistently demonstrated uncommon loyalty, resilience, and leadership capacity, qualities that position him to steer the party toward resounding victory in 2027 and beyond.

He noted that the choice of Chief Iboyitete was not by chance, but the product of broad-based consensus among party leaders and stakeholders across the local government area. 

“His emergence reflects the collective confidence reposed in him by the party hierarchy. He is a firm believer in the ideals, values, and progressive vision of our great party, and his tenure will undoubtedly usher in deeper unity, stronger consensus-building, and purposeful teamwork,” Oghenesivbe stated.

The Bureau Chief charged the new executive members to align steadfastly with the progressive path of the party, in line with the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. 

He emphasized the urgent need to sustain and strengthen the political momentum toward securing overwhelming support for the presidential and governorship aspirations of the two leaders as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.

Oghenesivbe further expressed profound appreciation to leaders and stakeholders of the APC in Ethiope East for their patriotism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to party unity. 

He paid special tribute to the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, Esq., the State Director of Protocol, Chief Sunday Onoriode, Chief Bernard Edewor, Chief Ogbetuor, Chief James Omeru, Rt. Hon. Sunny Akpodiogaga Emeyese, Chief Mrs. Faith Majemite, Hon. Felix Erhimedafe, and numerous other dedicated party faithful whose selfless service continues to strengthen the party’s foundation.

He concluded with a call for renewed solidarity, urging all party members to close ranks, deepen grassroots mobilization, and work collectively to deliver a historic triumph for the APC in Ethiope East and Delta State at large.

The management in clear terms described the publication as the work of “unscrupulous elements seeking to sow discord and cast aspersions on the steady infrastructural development PTI has recorded in recent years.” As a center of excellence in petroleum training and manpower development, PTI has, under its current administration, seen remarkable transformation in terms of physical infrastructure, digital modernization, and student welfare programs. The Institute continues to attract local and international recognition for its cutting-edge research and high-impact training curriculum.
