Delta State-born renowned peace and development advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, has called on the various ethnic nationalities in the state to embrace development for the benefits of all Deltans. The United Nations Peace ambassador and environmental rights activist made the appeal to particularly the Urhobos, the Itsekiris, and the Ijaws, who he said are the livewire of the state economy.
